I enjoyed this episode for so many reasons, too numerous to mention, one thing that stands out was the detail that had been put into the child's playhouse that Jason could stand up in upstairs!!! So cool!
@@janessanevill6581 That is so great that he had that kind of passion for his children. I would have enjoyed being your neighbor ☺️ Great memories for you.
My husband at age 20 went into the barn on a sheep station in South Australia. At the back wall was a mountain of pre war and WW2 Harleys. John estimated at least 50 bikes. The farmer and farm hands had used them for rounding up the sheep. John paid 5 pounds (10 dollars) and spent the weekend using the pile for parts. Sunday afternoon he rode his prize home.. Sadly he passed 18 years ago at almost 54, Alex would have loved a find of this many Harleys.
Jason´s face when Alexander broke into song.... Priceless! I can see him carryuing the flame into the next generation...A great son and testimony to his father.
That play house looks like the one I used to drool over in the FAO Swartz catalog. They had a camping trailer and little Jeep car that would go 9mph. I drooled over that too.
It was sad to see so many unfinished "projects" that unfortunately had been exposed to the elements too much to save them. But it was great to see Jason on board to help you on this pick. He has always seemed to be the quiet kid in the family but he has gotten more talkative as he has gotten older. I love his dry sense of humor and the look he gave Alex when he started singing was priceless. You need to do a video of him solving the Rubics Cube since the results of his efforts on the trip were not included in this video. It was great to see two videos in the same day!
I loved the playhouse and the telephone!! The shelves are beautiful and in great shape!! I know y’all had a great time together and that’s your greatest treasure!!🌺🙏😃🎚
Enjoyed. Interesting items but yes in bad condition. The pinball machine is great! We enjoy when you treasure hunt with your children. The store addition is looking great!
Jason you’re a wonderful young man!! Good to see you going with your dad. These are times when memories are made and special times together had. Another interesting video. Thank you. Big hugs!
Oh that playhouse is so beautiful! Would love something like that in the yard for our grandkids. Some great finds, especially the radio. Barrie, cool. My dad always went to the Barrie flea market for years. Very cool phone! My dad has an old crank one in his house.
So fun to see your son accompany you on this barn treasure hunt! The look he gave when you started singing in the car made me laugh. So many unfulfilled dreams of restoring SO many items was hard to watch.
Wow love the creations made by the husband he was a true artist...He had an interesting collection so varied...have to mention I love the Kastner Auction ad on your channel...I have a barristers bookcase - love it - but wish it had deeper shelves it seems they had narrower law books in the 1800's haha...love Jason's look at your singing...soooo funny...it looked like a fun trip...
Jason is so cute. After you sang your lunchtime song and turned the camera towards Jason, I saw a huge resemblance of Melissa. Beautiful kids and just a wonderful family.
What a fun day with Jason! He is smart to worry about hornets/wasps. I was hoping you would show us the great place you ate lunch, but it must not have been that memorable in Venice after all. Your new place is looking so good and can't wait until you all put your magic touch on the inside decor.
So, as someone who restores games, that simpsons cabinet is in Great shape considering... but from our short time inside it looks like it was missing the main PCB... at least you can still find them, if the board is there, make sure you check the power supply before actually powering the board up, supplies fail all the time and are easy to replace, but if it takes the board it can be hard, at least there are a TON of simpsons 4 player boards out there... the bowling game is a lot harder to find... i have the kit for converting that cabinet to the bowling game...
Alex, I was the one who sent you a video of my 1960 Volkswagen Bug coming off the trailer. I need a passenger side mirror!!! lol (Oh and seatbelts also...)
I love this Gentlemen’s taste!!! My husband would be in heaven if he had buildings & shop like that!!! The bookshelves you picked up are beautiful!!! Well done Alexander!!!
That play house was the most elaborate I've seen! I have never seen one with a second story. A cool edition to your new section if you can find one would be one of those tables that had a video game built in. The games were usually Pac Man or Galaga.
My mother and her husband live in Barrie Ontario! Why do we get so excited to hear of someone from somewhere we know??? Hope your guests have a safe trip home!
Sad to see so many nice antiques in bad shape. I can see why a collector needs to focus on 1 or 2 items to collect and restore. Jason has gotten so tall and has a neat low voice. It is neat to see your kids helping out on some of your outings. The new build is looking great.
Looks like you had a great day with Jason. I wonder how he made out with the cubes. He is getting to be a big help. Nice to meet your fans . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
It looks like an old Aga stove. I saw it isn’t but couldn’t see the brand. Still that would bring a pretty penny as they’re becoming popular again because they can be adapted to renewable fuels. And they work so well they can heat your entire house on very little fuel.
I've seen old Aga stoves restored and re-powder coated and back in working order. There are still old parts you can get. It's super trendy in Sweden and in cabins in Norway.
Loved this! Went to a retro arcade last weekend and my husband was in his element, The Simpson's was his favourite when he was younger! You and Jason make quite the double act 😁
Lovin the videos 🤗🤗 , as a child my dad turned an old ambulance into a mobile home for us to do some touring and he chose an ambulance to convert because they have well maintained and tough engines.
Always be careful of bees from mid Summer into the Fall, Alex! They're more aggressive then because they're looking for protein, rather than sugar like they do in Spring. Love what you do- found your channel when you were working on Madame Rac's house and have been hooked ever since. Blessings for you and your lovely family from North Carolina :D
Ha, at 24:45 when Jason gives his dad "that look" listening to him sing, all I can see is Melissa's face in his expression. I hadn't seen that much resemblance before.
Would love to see bead board on some walls and pressed tin on the ceiling in the addition!!! Can’t wait to see the space complete for I know you will make it Alexander Cool!!!
My nephew really got into solving rubik's cubes a few years ago. He was really good at it! I'm sure Jason will be great at it. I feel for that family having to go through all of that. I don't know how you do it Alex. You have an eye for what is good and what should be passed up. I just see a mess like that and panic.
Oh my word, when you were singing about getting Jason lunch, the camera panned over to his face, it was exactly the same look as Melissa gives you from time to time - fabulous!!
Watching this one kinda gave me anxiety. The poor woman has all of that to deal with now that her husband is gone. It makes me so sad for her. People, like her husband do not understand how dealing with this much stuff affects the family. I wish her well and I hope she has help from her family.
There was mention that her daughter was there - and people may well catch sight of something interesting in this video and reach out to contact her about buying other stuff. She sure has a lot to deal with, but I'm optimistic she's not alone. I was just admiring how yes, there is a lot of stuff, but it's kept neat and tidy, no unmanagable piles of stuff about to avalanche!
@@007nadineL i think you might be projecting your personal experience and fears there? We don't know anything about how this family spent their time, except that they're working together now.
Jason can take right over for you. He said “Bye for now” exactly as you said it and at the same time. He is ready. ❤️❤️
That little end moment was wonderful!
I enjoyed this episode for so many reasons, too numerous to mention, one thing that stands out was the detail that had been put into the child's playhouse that Jason could stand up in upstairs!!!

That’s my playhouse :) my dad built it for us when I was born, and fixed it up again a few years ago before he passed. ♥️

That playhouse was just amazing! Some lucky little kids got to play in there!

What a lovely story 🥰
What a great find and better memory!
Great story sorry for your loss.
What a great story
That play house was EPIC! 🤩
I want that little roll-top desk.
Lucky kids lived on or visited that place!
Omg these kids are growing so fast and have such a calm attitude not to mention so good looking like their parents
Jason is growing like a weed. He gave Alex that look that Melissa gives him. OMGEEEZ too funny!! And then the "bye for now."
I love the roll top desk in the play house. Had one as a child
Jason´s face when Alexander broke into song.... Priceless! I can see him carryuing the flame into the next generation...A great son and testimony to his father.
Wow! What a treat another great adventure! Thanks for taking us along!😊

We had the same problem when clearing out my moms house after she died. My dad had soooo many projects started but left unfinished after he passed.
You are such a good Dad looking out for your son Jason. What a cute play house. I would have lived out there all summer.
Jason is an awesome young man. Love the way he enjoys life.
I agree! He has a presence about him. And he’s definitely a “doer” - just gets things done without a lot of fuss or talking.
Another fun adventure! Thanks for taking us along. And the new building has come a long way! Looking good!!
I loved the playhouse and the telephone!! The shelves are beautiful and in great shape!! I know y’all had a great time together and that’s your greatest treasure!!🌺🙏😃🎚

Loved the eye roll from Jason and he joined you at the end with the "Bye for now"! Was hoping to see the finished Rubik's cube. This was a fun one!
That playhouse was everything! So nice. 🙂
Jason you’re a wonderful young man!! Good to see you going with your dad. These are times when memories are made and special times together had. Another interesting video. Thank you. Big hugs!
Loved Jason’ s look when Alex sang. Lol.
Poor Jason. Wait till he starts dating, and they meet Dad.
I always laughed at my boyfriends dad’s Dad Jokes. I’m sure whoever he dates will think Alex is a fun dad.
After the lunch song he look horrified.
I roll my eyes at my dad's dad jokes still at 32 but my husband makes the same ones- so now I have 2 people to roll my eyes at 😂
Alexander, don't ever change, love your sense of humor & style.
The look he gave you after your lunch song was precious.
I love how Alex makes sure things are cleaned properly and ready to go. He doesn’t just buy and sell with the attitude of it just needs cleaning.
So nice that fans from Ontario came to see you at the store!❤️
THE ENDING WAS CUTE , WHEN JASON SAID ; "BY FOR NOW". JASON! YOU LOOKED JUST YOUR DAD, LOL. IT WAS 2 CUTE . MUCH LOV
Always fun hanging out with you and your family !!! I have never seen a rotary phone like that!! Very cool!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖

The little furniture! And it even has a sliding door and balcony! Must of been some lucky kids.
Omg!! Funny! Alex YOUR child gave YOU the eye that parents reserve for their children . I'm rolling!! Thanks for sharing, great video.👌👍❣
Jason has learned well from Melissa!
So great to meet you yesterday. We had a lot of fun digging through your treasures. We will definitely be back.
It's awesome you spend so much time with your kids. Jason looks so much like you!
Jason is so patient! But humor is so good for the soul!

What a beautiful view they have from their driveway..
