Gears has to appear in Halo next. There were some Halo guests for Gears 5. As well as the Arbiter from Halo in Killer Instinct.

As much as I love the idea. The unfortunate fact is unless 343 reverts Halo back to Rated M, chances of Gears in Halo are rather slim. Of course we did get Emile and Kat in Gears 5, but the other way, I doubt it.

I don’t even care for Gears anymore but it’s insane how they mismanaged it. I remember logging on one random day and seeing a “STOP THE BULLSHIT!!!!11one!” message pop up about blm and I uninstalled that shit and never played a Gears game again lol even though I had game pass
I agree in terms of mismanagement but a blm message stopping you from playing is weird cos so many other big games had that too.
I have had so much fun on gears 5 than even black ops and mw, escpecially the coop vs ai mode is so laid back and chill i luv it
footnite is a *ancer that needs other game assets to survive, Pubg is going down a similar path unfortunately.

There's an item in Enter the Gungeon that referances Gears of War. It's called "Cog of Battle" and it allows your weapon to active reload for extra damage.
I remember buying lost planet 2 specifically because I saw gears of war characters on it, but I didn’t know how to gain access to the characters😭

I remember having a theory that the swarm wins the war in gears 6 and will let the serans leave the planet to find someplace else which will start the unreal Tornament series
i never knew about gears being in half of the games you listed but it just makes the franchise even cooler that its in so many other games, i would love to see a gears cross over in cod or halo in the future though
I encountered the lancer in Wasteland 3 without knowing beforehand. The idea of finding and recognizing an Easter egg in a game without knowing about it prior feels so… damn… good.

Great video, my favorite one by far is the killer instinct cross over. Still the best fighting game I ever played.
We had a Halo/Gears crossover with Emile and Kat, but what's stopping them from doing it the other way around? Armor made to look more like a CoG soldier would be pretty cool.
I think crossovers are great and they add a bit of spice to the overall environment with mixing up characters or weapons.
Scorge, Raam, and the Cole Train would be excellent for Mortal Kombat. 😂

While I’m not a really a call of duty fan, I could see the Retro Lancer and normal Lancer as some cool and unique DLC weapons. Both could potentially have unique executions if you melee from behind. Lancer would basically saw them in half (we have Homelander doing that with lasers so I doubt that would be a problem) and the Retro lancer would basically be the charge animation either way out the charge. Lifting up a player with the bayonet and throwing them off.

Lost Planet 2 needs a light remaster to fill out the story and make the gameplay loop more engaging, it’s such a great base package
Crossovers are superior for everything.
Cod has Homelander, Spawn, Rick Grimes etc. so id be hella down to see Gears collab in this game and bring in Classic Marcus and Dom and maybe Raam for the kortac side, i love all the collabs so far in mw3

A carmine in another game would be cool. Maby even with some voice lines to as a nod to the Gears. See a friendly die of a head shot "oh man i know what that feels like" reloading "finally got this part down"

There was this Indie game back on the 360 called Zombies and Pterodactyls, and they had a COG skin with what looked like Ben' Helmet
I love these collabs
It'd be cool to see a crossover between Killing Floor 2 and GOW. Both have gratuitous violence and over-the-top weapons. It'd be a perfect fit for the Lancer to chop up Zeds, or for the Cleaver to get the spotlight

Fortnite should never have gotten as popular as it has, now they're just tainting Gears of War at this point, the franchise they made before! The best I've seen so far is adding General RAAM to killer instinct.

OG Delta Squad was also in Unreal Tournament 3. It matched so well with the game too.
Pretty sick! Love gears of war so much! I was playing fortnite at the time the skins came out and honestly that's pretty damn cool! They could have had more stuff and more characters, but what we got was a cool addition! Hopefully we get more some day! It is epic games after all! 😅😆👌🏻 they also had little lore references and stuff with the little quests to get the sprays and such

There is a item in the game Enter the Gungeon called the COG of battle giving the player the ability to do a active reload.
It was nice to see marcus back in epic games even if it wasn't for long. If microsoft lets us have killer instinct 2 and the new hype with anniversary edition, id love to see skorge or marcus in the game

Skorge in mortal combat, one of his fatalities could be calling the riftworm to consume the opponent. Then they can do whatever from there, gets smashed by the teeth, crushed by the debris boulder, burned in acid, eaten by the parasites

For April fools NRS teased marcus fenix for mortal kombat 9 as the Xbox exclusive. Since Ps had kratos. But they fucking didn’t add him. I wish they did. To me it seems PS always gets more exclusive characters in fighting games. Or get them first FREE before they are dlc for Xbox. Examples Darth vader soul calibur 4, koro, Toro, cole, pacman, megaman Street fighter x tekken. Pac and mega and also Darth vader were available for purchase as dlc to Xbox players long after. MK9 kratos. Sure there is more.

You would think there would be a lot more gears of war appreciation and references in Fortnite, but it’s only the skins.
That said at least we got skins. Other franchises I wanted to see more of are infinity blade and unreal tournament. We only got that little event for infinity blade and literally nothing from unreal
Imagine how much money Treyarch would make if the lancer assault rifle was in Call of Duty Black Ops and you were able to use the chainsaw as an attachment for all the rifles, which also came with a few brutal execution animations as well!!
Imagine on multiplayer, the other team gets the killstreak where the dogs come after you and you can use the chainsaw on them as well: the dog tries to lunge, but you use the chainsaw as it stands on its hindlegs and cut through it like you would a wretch from gears of war!
We already have a chainsaw attachment for rifles in mwiii
funny how you didnt mention the fact that the gears crossover in fortnite missed the oppurtunity for some OG cosmetics in Epics brand new game. Epic games had the chance to use their own IP again after a decade and they just used the latest skins : /

I really wish lost planet 2 had a bigger player base. It was such a good game and I absolutely LOVED playing as Dom in the campaign

I’m hoping for more gears collabs in fortnite. Young Marcus style with a Dom skin and a locust drone skin with multiple different armor pieces you can swap out and a raam skin.

They should add general raam to halo or fortnite im only saying fortnite because it is one of the most popular games and could possibly make gears gain som3 traction where as halo is xbox exclusive and most players of halo most likely played of know about gears but collabs would be cool either way
The killer instinct one was a disappointment for me. The Arbiter had his own arena and appropriate remixed halo music to go with it. Raam has neither of those. I always found that bizarre and felt like that it was a half assed promotion for Gears of of War 4 which came out much later that year.
