Bullet tweeters can sound excellent in some applications though. Also you can put some silk domes inside of a horn and get the best of both!

​@cgcrow5615 you can put silk domes inside of a horn tweeter? Even though I could not find an exploded diagram of a bullet/horn tweeter, I'm still calling bullshit because that's not the way they work. Silk dome bullet tweets do not exist, thus you're just talking out your ass.

Soundman said put those tweeters as close to you mid as possible so I said sure I'll try it... For me anyways FAIL! Now everytime I push clutch in or move my leg for comfort I loose my highs, Shure is swell effects.

Im gonna have to use a pair because I cant find any tweeters to match the sensitivity or loudness of 3 pairs of midrange speakers that have a 101db+ sensitivity

Prv, audiopipe tweeters are around 100-108db

@@manuelrivera3123 Yeah, I ended up ordering some Machete mini sized ones. 106db and they blend in nicely. Gonna run two pairs of those closer to me on low power so I dont go deaf, and one pair of PRV TW400Ti-ND4 v2 a bit lower down in the door on an amp. I avoided super tweeters for a long time cause many sound like horns or have a weird resonance or are made to play too low for super tweeters but these Machete and the PRVs sound pretty good and are easy to incorporate

You Are 100% Correct They put them in Fire Alarms they are loud

Mine are in the door but it’s not firing at your hip and you definitely don’t want them firing at your ear.Super tweeters are not for sound quality but could be.Loud and clear from outside the car is why people get them.Follow me for more relationship advice 🤣😭😂🤦🏾‍♂️

The only place where you're wrong is "super tweeters aren't for sound quality" when that's actually the whole reason they were created. Normal tweeters were too quiet for SPL systems to have really any SQ, but with pro audio every speaker type has a different range where it could be regarded as SQ

Super tweets are the bro-cringe/Chad's of the driver world. NONE of the companies making quality audio gear make super tweeters. Probably because it's hard to distinguish sound quality when your ears are bleeding and you have permanent tinnitus 😅...😢.
