    I was just wondering what you would think of Buenos Aires? As an African-American I lived in Buenos Aires for nearly 10 years. I found Buenos Aires totally awesome 👌. I was last in Buenos Aires Argentina last in March of 2020. You are also going to find the people of Argentina just amazing. I plan on an extended visit in December. You can never get bored in Buenos Aires. Enjoy. Yes I got addicted to drinking Mate. And adopted Boca Juniors as my soccer team in Argentina. But my favorite neighborhood in Buenos Aires is Congreso check it out if you can, again a great video 📹. To me the people in Argentina don't care what you look like, if you have an interesting story to tell people will be curious about you.

    It's one of my favorite cities to visit. 3 times now. It's fantastic in many ways. However it cycles through bad economics pretty routinely. The people and food are great. Palermo has a pretty prevalent Ex Pat community. Recoleta even higher end living. Congresso district has all of the international trappings of our Wa DC. I wish I could afford to live in a nicer parts of town. Easily the cost of a lot of American cities in these parts. Recoleta is like Beverly Hills. At the cost of say Atlanta. The quality of living drops off pretty quick outside of these.
    But Argentina as a country, man it has so much to offer.

    • @vvventure
      @vvventure 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Not actually, nice neighbourhoods are all over the city, in fact, palermo overall is not a neighborhood of rich people. I know that some suburbs are in bad shape and we are a poor country, but I clarified because it seems that the city is fine only on those 3 neighbourhoods and is no true. Thats the touristy part which is fine if you only visit those.

    • @malthus101
      @malthus101 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vvventure which other areas are nice?

    • @vvventure
      @vvventure 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@malthus101 Depends in what sense, nice to visit or nice to live? For the capital I have to tell you which areas arent nice because the whole city is (except some parts in the south) For ex, Belgrano is just like Palermo without tourist options. All the palermo soho/hollywood is exactly like any other part in the city but without the trendy bars, hotels and night life, like chacarita, vurquiza, coghlan, vcrespo, etc.
      For the metro area, everything north is nice. West and south is where I have to tell you were is nice instead of where it isnt. Im generalizing of course. Recoleta has the biggest slum in the country right next to french palaces and skyscrapers and Bella Vista (west) has mansions surrounded by awful areas
