I live in BA eight years. Downtown is impressive but what makes Buenos Aires one of the greatest cities in the world is how extensive that great architecture is. If you go from la boca to belgrano (you can actually go on to tigre and its still amazing) are 20-30 km of incredible and dense architecture (and diverse, every neighbourhood seems like a different city) There is few cities that you can say that and you named them (paris, london, ny, etc). Hope you enjoy and take care of yourself specially if you found yourself alone in the street :(
Saludos.

My son lived in Argentina, Buenos Aires for 9 years. Now he's been living in Kanada for 20 years and he wants to come back to Argentina. He is so much in love with BA.
The best of BA is the endless social activities going on, non stop. Is the perfect city for a solo traveler that will never be alone. A truly heaven experience
@@MolestiaIrónica Bro a traveler is one that wants to experience, learn and understand the local culture, history, geography etc, the fact is traveling alone it doesnt mean wants to be alone. You misunderstood and obviously you ain't a traveler at all, I am
@@DandbDandb You're saying this from an extrovert position, which is obviously the opposite of introversion. Lonely people can travel, not just to get to know people and their culture, but any other aspect of the place, and this is completely logical.

I've been to Buenos Aires twice, and absolutely love, love, love the place! The tango shows, La Recoleta cemetery where Evita is buried with its amazing mausoleums, the lovely French-like cafe's, the colourful artist district of La Boca, the opera house which Baryshnikov called the most beautiful in the entire world, the Casa Rosada from which Evita addressed her adoring public, the lovely green squares, Alvear Avenue - one of the big five most sophisticated streets in the entire world, the best meat restaurants ever (nobody does it like the Argentinians!), shopping malls that look like museums, I can go on and on. The Paris of the south...only better!!
And that's just looking into the capital. You have the whole country to discover. The historic appeal of Córdoba, the wonderful landscapes of Patagonia, the deserts of Puna or the rainforest and the Iguazu Falls in Misiones.
I think what you really like as a US person is the fact that it is walkable. You can go many places just walking. There are stores and cafés and restaurants everywhere. You don't need a car. And it is also very green all over, on the sidewalks, every few blocks small parks. Depending on where in the US You are from, it must be very different
As an American, yes this is great of course! Honestly, the people and culture are the most sentimental things to me after many visits over 27 years. Such warmth and generosity! And I never had fun in my life like I did with my Argentina friends there. Beautiful, wonderful place! For anyone!

Once there you can understand why people call it "The Paris of America", But there is a lot more to see, Iguazu Falls up North, Bariloche in the south, glaciars etc. Hospitable and educated people, great food and affordable. BTW: Dustin Luke is "The most Argentinian American guy from Georgia" He lived there several years, mastered his Spanish and became an influencer, great story. Can't wait to visit Buenos Aires again!
If you liked Buenos Aires, without a doubt you are going to fall in love with Argentine Patagonia, you have to go to Bariloche and Santa Cruz. Other beautiful places in Argentina is Jujuy, Mendoza, Misiones

@Mexicano pobre de Mexiquistán Your opinion would be more realistic if you had also lived 20 years in that or those supposed cities that would be better.
Glad you liked our capital mate, hope you enjoyed your time in Argentina. If you feel like visiting other beautiful cities I recommend Rosario (the center of the city from Pellegrini to Oroño Boulevard, it's a beautiful walk, then the river side, and the walking street Peatonal Córdoba). There's also the Monumento a la Bandera that's where Belgrano raised Argentina flag for the first time. Other amazing cities are Mendoza and honestly all below the Patagonia it's lovely; Ushuahia, Bariloche, Chapelco. If you go to Córdoba I recommend a german town called "La Cumbrecita"
That’s so cool how you immediately knew how much you loved the city without even being there a few hours lol. I’m going to BA this weekend and plan to stay a month, but if I like it, I’ll stay longer! You got me more excited

First off, bus travel in Argentina and Chile is so much of a better experience than anything similar in the USA. Really nice bus, clean, comfortable and modern. Usually a person onboard to keep everything clean and tidy. Sometimes there's entertainment and games. Took the bus from Mendoza to Santiago. Fantastic scenery of the Andes.

I don’t know much about Argentinian history, although in popular culture you sense that it’s been mythologized as something both romantic and tragic. Seeing Buenos Aires in this video makes it clear that they were striving for greatness and then sadly suffered dictatorships and economic failure and nothing gives more pride than noble striving and especially when tragedy strikes. Hopefully, Argentina will one day reach the economic heights it once enjoyed when it was on par with the leading economies of the world. Thank you.

Lo esperamos.
well yeah, very logic, argentina is a beautiful country. and bs as is the most beautiful capital out there, is a mix of all the good ones
The best of BA is the endless social activities going on, non stop. Is the perfect city for a solo traveler that will never be alone. A truly heaven experience
If you are a truly lone traveler, you would least be interested in social, logically.

Argentina has always been on my bucket list of countries I would love to visit. One day.
What a lovely words, many thanks to you !! You are welcomed here whenever you want, blessings !! !! !
And that's just looking into the capital. You have the whole country to discover.
The historic appeal of Córdoba, the wonderful landscapes of Patagonia, the deserts of Puna or the rainforest and the Iguazu Falls in Misiones.
Paris is the Buenos Aires of the north... 😊
Buenos Aires has a special place in my heart. It's the only city I recommend to everyone. Sure is chaotic but it has so much to offer
The only chaotic thing there is the inflation rates in my opinion
Many thanks for your love to Buenos Aires and for recommending the city, blessings
I think what you really like as a US person is the fact that it is walkable. You can go many places just walking. There are stores and cafés and restaurants everywhere. You don't need a car. And it is also very green all over, on the sidewalks, every few blocks small parks. Depending on where in the US You are from, it must be very different

As a Buenos Aires resident, I feel very proud to see this video. I love my city and I’m very happy that you enjoyed your stay.
I've been dreaming of visiting Buenos Aires someday. The buildings are magnificent and imposing. Love it!

Viniste para Buenos Aires mi bro? Como la estas pasando? 😊
I’m from BA. I’ ve never been to Paris but the first time I went to New York my thoughts were exactly “ this is as chaotic as Buenos Aires” and I loved it.
It feels my heart with so much joy whenever I see someone fall in love with my home town. I hope you had an amazing time your entire stay ❤

Thank you. This video makes me want to visit and read up on Argentinian history.
