Argentines are not racist? And are despicable to And look down on indigenous people or on any other inferior “class/race” that they might think are inferior? Specially people from other countries in South America? …because that’s what the world knows about them besides Football and their stars.

Everything starts very late in Argentina, from meals to parties. Before going to the club people usually get together at a friend's house and share a couple of beers/fernet/drinks until around 3 am then right after that you head to the disco/party until 6 and last there's the after party (usually at someone's house)

Still, in every place are jerks so have to beware of that and if somebody wants to fight just try to avoid it at all costs. In early 2020s I think a boy got killed by a group of rugbiers (rich boys) because of some stupid thing like he spilled accidentally a drink on one of those boys. Is pretty popular to go to “afters” on Wednesday and Tuesday and then go to work without or with just a few hs of sleep hahaha. Palermo and San Telmo are the best and safer places to visit if you don’t speak Spanish and even if you are alone. Puerto Madero is nice too but a little bit more expensive , but it has an amazing view beside the river.

Because the parties start around 3am. Argentinians are notorious for eating late and going out late. Usually hang out at friends house until 12-1 then hit the clubs around 3 and go home around 6-7am

The Argentinean philosophy is to have fun no matter what, so that is why the nightlife is so vibrant, culture is huge, theaters, live concerts, art, ballet, football, rugby etc, different areas of a city do accommodate the necessities of its social class, the guy who spoke a little bit in English explained perfectly, one area for the elite, another area for the social class that is battling every day to get at the end of the month and pay the bills. Due to the last century's constant economic decline and political turmoil, crime has increased exponentially, as the old social-economic structure was the elite (a few), middle class (big %), and poor class (huge %), slowly started to change, to the elite got reachest ( a few), part of the low middle class passed to be poor class, the professional immigrated to Europe, the rest is getting there every month, so that big % that I mentioned before was reduced considerably, and we have the majority which is the poor class. Like any country, Argentina has its own beauty, it is a great country for tourism but be careful with the crime, unfortunately, Argentina's reality is the majority is in survival mode. One more thing, the whole of South America is going on the same path, one more or less, no exception, it is all based on data and not feelings or fairy tales, you catch my drift........

Argentina is the safest country in Latin America. The thing is that the media exaggerates too much. As everywhere you have to be careful, yes, there are dangerous areas, but in general, a middle-class neighborhood is usually quiet.

I beg to differ. Plaza Serrano is where most middle-class youngsters go. A foreigner must note that the city of Buenos Aires (CABA) has the same GDP as any other major developed city worldwide. For example, it has a similar GDP to Miami, Sydney, Milan or Seattle. Consequently, contrary to the local perception, it is not much different from living in those other cities speaking of the quality of life, transportation or services. The problem is that most of the inner-Argentina, including vast areas of Buenos Aires province, is very under-developed and way poorer and insecure. People there strive to eat on a day-by-day basis. Compared to those, Buenos Aires city is a first-world country in itself. That is why the perception of a simple act of spending and going out as being something for the "rich". Puerto Madero is more uptown and expensive.

Argentina is not Latin America, Argentina is Argentina, very different from ANY other country in America (except from Uruguay maybe), including Chile or Bolivia, let alone Mexico or Colombia! Latin America is very big and each country has its own culture, which differs very much one from another, specially Argentina. It breaks my balls that yankees always refer to Latin America as a one culture place or a place where everyone is the same, just because we share a language!

You have a lot of things to do at night in Buenos Aires. It s the city with more theatres. There are clubs where you can listen reeggeaton and others where you can listen electric music. Also you can go to see different kinds of bands (rock, pop, tango, etc) You have a lot of bars all around the city. If you want a long party night buenos aires is the place. The "previa" starts at 11pm then you go to the club at 3 pm and after that you have after parties. Palermo is one of the biggest neighbourhood and there you have a lot of clubs and bars but you can also go to recoleta or to the clubs near the river. I hope you enjoy BA

For all those that got a negative feedback from this clip please understand people in BA are extremely friendly and approachable, having said that not everyone is fluent in English to say the least and having a cool young black men approaching girls is not a common thing.
For those asking if black guys could succeed with the chicks in BA, go and ask Brazilian non white men (I know they do as we do with Brazilian girls when we visit their country)
First of all they ( Brazilian black guys) do speak Spanish and are at times the favorite amongst BA girls. Like any where else you will find all kind of people, since BA is a huge city.
Again very friendly, approachable and intelligent people and many look handsome and hot.
Go and visit BA you will not regret, for those solo travelers I can say if you are not shy and open minded to try and enroll in social and cultural activities, BA is a prime destination
