Is that a sort of plastic? The MEK might not dissolve it as it is, if it'll dissolve it might need more physical damage, maybe some chemical damage. I used to break down PET by steady heating in aq NaOH then adding equal ph acetic acid to hopefully disturb the long polymers. Its worked fairly well
Indeed it is! PETG is a relatively common plastic used for 3D printing. But when it clogs, it's a nightmare to unclog. I had heard that MEK could dissolve this plastic, so I decided to run an experiment. Unfortunately, as you can see from this video, it does not dissolve this particular plastic
