Just did my clutch on the bench yesterday. I was uncertain how to bend down the lock tab and I knew how to adjust but didn’t know how to set the proper position for the clutch pusher. Great video. I’m gonna pull my pressure plate and get the vise grips out for that lock tab! Btw this is an ongoing winter only project… will be looking for wiring harness soon and I know where to turn
kevin, thanks for the time you take to keep making new videos. every step is so detailed its impossible to get it wrong. i just finished my banshee rebuild with your help and its running great, i only had to go to my clymers for torque specs, like you said "i never torque anything right" but you know when to stop, i dont. i have to torque everything. Thanks again

South Texas Banshee it sure did and the better springs helped too! It now has no slip at all when it hits power 😁😁😁 was a long project that finally came together big bore kit with those v force 4 reeds cool heads and 2 to 1 carb used a jetted up carb from a 89 cr500r and she loves it.... I think she believes she is a Honda 😂😂😂😂😂 no girl it's just the carb 😂 thanks for all your help! Couldn't have did it without your videos!

Hi, I'm from Italy and I've some question about the installation. The original clutch has got a big o-ring between the fricion plates and steel plates. I ask you if I have to keep the original o-rings or I have to remove it and install the new clutch kit without o-rings. Thanks, waiting for your answer.
Anyone doing the idle trick to lubricate the clutch, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BIG FAN BLOWING DIRECTLY ON THE RADIATOR. If you don't the bike will overheat and blow the motor.

Sorry kevin dont mean to be pain in the ass.its the upper oulet in the crank case itself.it goes out the case to a hose and joins the back of the cool head behind the boost bottle..do u have an email and ill send a pic if ok.
Question? water inlet on upper right side of the main gear behind the clutch basket has worn away.were the oring sits.have u had trouble with this before i wondering what u would recomend. I was thinkin steel weld apoxy.

Hey bud ,quick question. Do I have to hone my cylinders if I’m replacing the pistons, I opened up my top end at the head is perfectly fine pistons are fine aswell but I just want to replace them with vitos ss pistons ? I need your advice

Joey Brack That's not a clutch issue man, you may need to check the shift arm adjuster bolt. search "shift arm adjuster bolt adjustment" on my channel. If you can find it message me
islamaustralia1 Nothing terrible will happen, it will start making some noise when it gets worse possibly may also cause the basket to begin to groove out faster.
@@kevingalindo1 I used a Tusk Clutch which I rotated 30 Degrees. Basically without the rubber in I had no pull on my clutch.Maybe my clutch cable is old and stretched out? Any help would be appreciated.
Damn im having problem with mines... the middle hose line seem to be stuck its not freeing it self i just disconnected the middle hose line to thinking it holding it from coming off

Screws may not be Phillips. If they have a little dot on the head, they are JIS and that is why they round off.

every drive line clutch kit seems to have extra friction plates. which kit is the one you installed on this video, looking to buy one.
What's your opinion on using full hinson billet basket hub and plate etc? They sure want a pretty penny for their stuff
