Didn't you end up still having shifting problems later on Mike?In your Banshee vs Predator vid it was hard for your shee to shift up gears. and all your shift mods were already installed. Im sure you're not having shifting issues with the Voodoo shee cause it makes way less than the 421..I used to have a pro mod tranny 1-6 hand clutch. it was butter like a 450. and could shift wide open with clutch. no problems. but sold it when i went to drag racing
This was done wrong he should buy a new one and make a new video before people get discouraged. That's why nothing comes out my mouth that's not a proven fact if I'm guessing ill tell u. This is a good mod bad demonstration. I absolutely love Mike though no homo we started the same time on different scales he had a gold shitter growing up and I was putting Frankensteins together just to get in a few rides... But I have the problem that old gasket brands are and in your videos you do not show how to clean that to put new gasket! I would like you to tell me how I can do? Hey I have the same problem with my Yamaha xj900 and the second gear is not engaging so I bought the second gear to replace and after replacing the gear it’s still having the same problem so the mechanic advise me to change the complete gear shaft and another mechanic said I should change only the shifter shaft and it’s will be fine so in this case what’s your opinion on that because I want to get my bike on road as soon as possible please I need your help... hopping to hear from you soon
Take your shifter shaft out an inspect it for trueness, then check the roller cam to make sure it isnt getting snagged inbetween nuetral and second, these kind of issues make xjforums a life saver
It's possible that this would make getting into 2nd easier, but I also think you might have to adjust/replace your shift lever cam; when that's out of adjustment, shifting can be a real bitch. If youre in the clutch side, I also recommend doing the shift star mod which I also have a video on 🤘
Seems to me the only reason this mod would be necessary is if the pivoting part of the shift shaft that grabs the pegs is sloppy on its pivot, which causes the shift star to not move as far as it would with a new part.

Hi, The screw where the Selector touches is ECCENTRIC to be able to regulate the oscillation of the Gear Shift Selector.
