Dogs React To New Baby Kitten For The First Time! (Cutest Ever!!)

- All of our pets were introduced to Kodi after he had a few days to himself in his new house. We opened doors slowly and let him explore all areas of the house alone smelling etc for nearly a week before introducing him to the animals. Kodi may seem intimidated by the animals but it's best to let them all meet under supervision where he knows he is safe with his humans. Our pets are fine but you have to get through this initial process in the best way you see fit and this is our tried and tested method! They are all completely fine with each other without hissing now, Teddy just wants to play and he innocently expects to get bopped all the time haha. Niko wants to mother and Phil just wants his bed back haha.
Props to this family for caring so much about so many different animals from naughty woofers🐕 to naughty meowers🐈 and even naughty baaaers🐐

Looks like everyone did well! They all react so differently - Teddy being shy but excited. Phil seems a bit indifferent for now and Niko being calm and maternal. ❤
Teddy is SO funny, he's literally itching to play with Kodi but he knows its another Milo and so he's not entirely sure what to do! You can see the supressed excitment and shyness on his face. He's still just a big liveable fluffy gentle wuss!
This family is so good with their pets. They really know how to handle them gently. Good luck with the new kitty.

Niko’s happily wagging tail tells us she’s gone straight into her Nana role again; she’ll look after little Kodi. Teddy wants to play but he’d best wait a little while. PhillyBear seems to be thinking “That’s MY bed!” And Milo, after Amelia, Teddy, Buddy, Nathan, & the goats, is shocked to see an actual kitten join the family!

I agree, they did well, Niko did best as her maternal instincts always kick in. Phil was indifferent like Em said wait, that's not my cat & Kodi must have been thrilled to meet Milo! Shane did so well with intro-warm & patient with each while protective of newest little one! 💕💕😊😊 Love it!

Teddy is hilarious with the immediate invitation to play. So sweet! Phil's not quite sure. Niko, the eternal mother. And Milo, predictable. So glad that they've all acclimated! Good thing that Buddy wasn't there.

We had a black lab who was completely cowed by a stray we took in; less size difference, but she literally could walk in front of him after we poured out his food, sit down, and pick out a few pieces while he stood there waiting.

Kitten hissed at me, says Teddy, when I was trying to be polite.Not his bed! says Teddy. Niko: a baby Milo. He wasn't nice to me, says poor Teddy, who tried his best. Whaat? asks Milo on seeing kitten, think Teddy is right.

I went through this introducing two new kittens into the house with my two older cats. I got a screen door that stuck to the door frame with double sided velcro. The screen had a zipper door in it. That way the kittens could interact with the big boys safely.
