Totally underrated phone. Ive been using mine for 6 months or so and theres zero lag ever. Its amazing, it doesnt even feel like android. And im a power user with 170+ apps and tons of multi tasking. and that camera, dddaaaaaaaannggg!!
Watching this vid on my P10 in 2020. Other than the fingerprint scanner which now fails to recognize me every now and then, my P10 is still fluid, no lags, battery lasts at least for a day (Spotify stream + youtube + social media + a bit of games) The only time my battery drains fast is if I play PokemonGo which is kind of known as a battery drainer. I'm so in love with this phone ❤️
im also a mate 8 (4gb ram) user for 1 yr already and this phone still as fluid since the day i bought it. thanks to the nougat update and the 4000mah battery
I'm watching this video on my p10 that I picked up yesterday. I was using a nexus 6P and was seriously considering going for a Pixel. This phone has blown my expectations away so far! Glad to see this phone praised so much by you guys, it assures me that I made a good decision on picking it up!
WUKONG MAIN P10 plus is still not IP67 or 68 nor it has a better headphone output, being as mediocre as any other Kirin powered phone. The "dual" speakers are the same as in the P9 plus that I owned, nothing special about them, a normal bottom speaker helped by a tiny close to distortion speaker.
Cambo Space and Science Official I'm looking to get the plus but some reviews say the battery drain fast o standby and that screen is dim at bottom.. Also that scrolling is slow.. Is that true?
For P10 battery is not so good, but P10 plus battery is acceptable. Everything is running well. and I love its front home button, it is easy to use than at the back. Esp, camera is perfect for taking photo, but for video is 1080p with 60fps is the best choice to record.
Cambo Space and Science Official My wife's new P10 was terrible at low light compared to my 2 year old S6 Edge. Very grainy. She's very disappointed. She wanted to try something different after years of Samsung. She regrets that now.
From reading the comments I noticed people give hate on this phone out of ignorance. The latest EMUI is very different from what it used to be. It is very polished and light on the RAM. The ONLY reason I would prefer the S8 over the P10 is water proofing. But the latest EMUI is smooth as butter and stays that way over time, unlike every single Samsung phone needing factory resets ever few months. Yes the game loaded faster on the S8, by half a second, but what really matters is gameplay and the Kirin SOC is much better than Qualcomm.
Thank you, i am in search for a Huawei phone, buti really could not decide witch one will suite me better... until now You are the best info channel on youtube
Actually just pointing out it does have splash resistance and I don't know what he means by audio not being good because to me it sounds great and the speakers are loud and clear. One thing I noticed is the music player that comes with it tends to be erratic at times, skipping or not showing my music at times and also brief echoes of my own voice during calls but only I can hear them. A part from that it is a great phone.
I got it two weeks after release and its lit. Always been. I switched from iphone to this just cuz of the interface and the fact that iphones never work for more than 2 years. So this is an android phone that is actually beautiful in and out. It looks like an iphone in and out but it works like an andoid .
I own a Huawei P10, and it has been the best phone that i ever had in my hands, i use the dual sim variant... as you say, not so good battery life... but the phone is great!!! You should also cover the newest system update. they improoved the camera!
I accidentally stumbled upon my Huawei P10 Plus. I initially bought the mate 9 Lite as a temporary phone after I lost my OnePlus One. it worked so well and I was so surprised by huawei software and Hardware but especially the camera. I decided to upgrade to the Huawei P10 Plus and cancelled an order that I had for a OnePlus 5. so far it's been a month and I absolutely love the phone and I heard a lot of people complaining about the navigation key fingerprint reader but it works pretty Flawless for me I don't see what the fuss is about. also it does have semi stereo speakers because the ear speaker functions as a speaker and it does give it a 3D quality sound. this is the most satisfied I have ever been with a phone and it came completely unexpectedly
Fernando Gonzales Seems like I made a good purchase then, got The P10 Plus yesterday and it feels good so far. Though it feels like it runs a bit for sometimes, but that may just be me as I have never really just a metal phone before. And I have to say the fingerprint scanner is so fast!! 😵 😛
Fernando Gonzales My wife's new P10 was terrible at low light compared to my 2 year old S6 Edge. Very grainy. She's very disappointed. She wanted to try something different after years of Samsung. She regrets that now.
I really like your after the buzz videos, thanks! Two years ago I barely knew about Huawei other than the company that really put the hurt on Ericsson (am from Sweden) with regards to telecommunications equipment, and to some extent been using their mobile modems for some years. After trying out the Honor 8 last year and now recently switched to a P10 Plus, Huawei has become my go-to brand. I love how lag free and fast it is, even better with more use as it seems to learn my usage patterns. Coming from a period of iPhone, I really like their EMUI as I think it's clean and made the switch a bit more familiar, Camera is superb and when going manual, wow, I love it! Build quality is also top notch, second to none. I can't see me switching brand any time soon and this comes out of how well this phone performs after several months, actually less trouble free and faster than any other phone I owned. It just works whatever I want to do and as a bonus is beautiful to look at.
I have a P9 and been using it for a while. The funny thing is, it replaced my iPhone 7. Nothing wrong with the iPhone I just find using the P9 a lot more "Fun" and unrestrictive. I don't like the fact Huawei went "backwards" and placing a home button in front of the P10 when most manufacturers are placing it in the back (like the P9) or doing away with it all together.
on a side note the hardware stability on the video has been improved on the 1080p 60fps as far as I can see been using this phone for a while and I am not dissapointed. I hope the next P Series device has a IP rating and duel speakers and the audio Jack , can't forget to add that small detail.
simply the best phone i ever used. And its so fast. that fingerprint unluck is fast as fu. the camera is Just amazing. and so many custom setting en battery/system/memory control
i honestly get your point when i first read your comment. but you dont really have to spam it all over the comment section right? make it as a separate comment and you made your point. I do feel bad for the people who watch just one review before they go for a phone. Me i watched as many reviews as i can and i got the idea that p10 doesnt do well in low light when compared to its competition. But do you know that Mate 9 received an update to remove noise in low light and tweak a bit of its quality? So im assuming p10 will get an update as well since they are the same cameras. Even if not i know what im getting. Anyway when im looking to buy a phone i just dont check camera only, i look for the design, decent battery life, decent audio, reasonable price and most importantly how it ages because i dont have money to get a phone every year or two. i atleast need the phone to run for 3 years. I have many friends who are using huawei and all their phones aged well. Thanks for your opinion on low light photos but its just annoying to see when someone just copy paste the same thing over and over again in comments. No hard feelings tho. Peace!
Pocketnow If the P10 lacks stereo speakers and water resistance, then the Plus version has both of them, so why not doing a p10 plus after the buzz to see how it stacks against the competition?
Jaime i see you are using no screen protector, but still your screen looks totally fine. I wanted to ask if the issue with the non oleophobic screens was fixed in the newer huawei p10s. Thanks !
I've got the p10 lite and even that being a cut down version of this version, I still better specs then the phones in its price point, still 1080p screen and a 4gb of ram and excellent battery life and still got fast charge.
A great phone, and one I almost went with. Most reviews have been very complimentary, but the thing that swayed me towards its other competitors was the quality of the panel, or lack thereoff. Whilst very bright, it had an odd colour cast which meant that colour accuracy was very poor - correcting this via the built-in settings was quite difficult to do well. When put side by side with the iPhone 7, Galaxy S8, LG G6, the screen just didn't deliver. It reminded me of the days before AMOLED tech had matured. I wish Huawei spent more time calibrating the display, and therefore strongly recommend anyone contemplating this phone to try it before buying.
Id LOVE the gestures on the fingerprint sensor if it was swipe left to go back, touch to go home and swipe right to go to multitasking (like on the Palm Pre pretty much). Long-pressing the thing to go home is just not intuitive imho.
I picked one of these up almost new for £375 bargain. Had a 3t that was very good but wanted something a little smaller! I disagree with battery life, I don't game but use my phone a good bit through the day and still have usually about 60% battery left the time I head home from work.
Hi i have a few questions about heat on the phone. I know it gets hot when gaming most phones do but is it dangerously hot for the phone? Like it can decrese performance? And does it get warm when doing basic things? Like cheking facebook, setting, using flaslight and talking on the phone? But also does it get warm or stay cold when you charge it without using it?
I feel that what it lacs in call quality it makes up for in performance. It seems that the qualcomm processors are better at data and cellular connection than other processors.
The thing I love the most is the price that Huawei uses in my country, is equal to the international price, compared to other flagships in which you have to pay almost 300 dollars extra, while being a third world country.
3:39 Dear Jaime, when it comes to manufacturer's skins Android version has nothing to do with battery life. Android Marshmallow was meant to be a huge upgrade from the Lollipop when it comes to battery life but my Huawei P8 lost about an hour of screen on time. From average 3,5-4h on Lollipop it dropped to 2-2,5 hours on Marshmallow.
I need advice. Back in 2014 I bought the Galaxy S5 and it's still running rather good, with a few flaws such as the wifi lag and the battery... anyways, I'm sonsidering switching to the P10, and am a bit worried about how that would work for me because the next time I'll be bying a new phone after this would be in a few years. Basicaly if it turns out to suck or lags up in a year I'm stuck with it. Plus, I'm soooo used to my S5 and it's features, it's almost of sentimental value to me lol. Is the P10 a good choice for me?
I don't understand this obsession about stock Android and every phone needing to have stock Android. I don't want every phone to be an exact copy of each other. That's what's wrong with phones these days, they're all the same
Bro even if all phones had stock pure Android (which they should) you can easily theme them and add all the features you want with launchers and apps, it still is the highly customizable Android we love after all! Also updates won't be such a hassle.
I had to buy a huawei p10 plus beacuse my s8 broke .... and i love more this phone. Better screen , better batery , more ram and storage , better camera , better sound and its faster than my s8 ... oh , the last one ... i know for sure that wont broke from 1m drop like my s8
I never saw the iPhone resemblance until he mentioned it. I really liked this phone's looks until the G6 came out. And then I liked the G6 until the S8 was released. And now I like the Note 8. Now, the P10 feels like something from the distant past. =(
Better p10 or honor 9? Because there is like 100 usd difference and I dont own much, as I understood the functionality and all are the same, but p10 has leica lens, but, I find the honor 9 really ugly with the curve glass on the back....but again, 100 usd....what you think? I use it for normal everiday use and sometimes to modify docs and play, I have now a s5, would be the honor 9 enough to comlare with it?
Hey mate...how are you ?? Got a question for you...wanted to change my current phone...i am between Oneplus 5 and Huawei P10... Can you help me choose?? ty
Thinking of upgrading from the p9 to the p10 or maybe possible getting the mate 9. I NEED HELP!! it's soooo hard to choose cause all three are so fucking good.
Totally underrated phone. Ive been using mine for 6 months or so and theres zero lag ever. Its amazing, it doesnt even feel like android. And im a power user with 170+ apps and tons of multi tasking. and that camera, dddaaaaaaaannggg!!
What's your battery life like?
pretty solid! Its not the best on the market but Im a power heavy user with 170 apps and it lasts me all day usually.. (10-14 hours)
pretty solid! Its not the best on the market but Im a power heavy user with 170 apps and it lasts me all day usually.. (10-14 hours)
How many SOT hours do you get?
austriker totally agree! my friends always ask what cam I use for my photos especially shooting for the stars!
You guys are the only ones that do these kind of videos, aging is really important. Please keep doing this and thank you :)
Thanks! ^JR

I am using Huawei Mate 8 past one year, the battery life is really really awesome.. tq bro.
warak anda My P9 has been great for the 7 months I've been using it. Awesome phone.
warak anda every persons battery last different depending how you use it
If huawei made their prices lower than the other flagships , it can easily rule the market . Good company .
Matija Atelšek where I live it's less than $500
I mean look at the oneplus flagships. Prices are incredible,... specs are top notch
this year oneplus is expensive.
I bought it for 370usd. Keep an eye out for campaigns, its quite commen in nordics at least
Zof true that
im also a mate 8 (4gb ram) user for 1 yr already and this phone still as fluid since the day i bought it. thanks to the nougat update and the 4000mah battery

I'm using p10 for 2 mouths. With the nova launcher. It's so beautiful in any degree.
The P10 is such a nice phone.
Hope they catch up with IP resistance and better audio for 2018
cheers to that!
same. i hope to upgrade from my P9 next year.
they have all those feature in the p10 plus
WUKONG MAIN P10 plus is still not IP67 or 68 nor it has a better headphone output, being as mediocre as any other Kirin powered phone.

Rena Chan hoping in the next flagship
I'm using P10 Plus.. :) I Love love love.... especially its camera quality and nice body design..

If we compare to screen of Samsung, no one could compete even iPhone... IPS and AMOLED are two ways differences :)
Also depends on your ability to take photographs. Samsung photo are very fake giving a false sense of skill
Been using my P10 for a couple of weeks now as swapping over from an Iphone 7 - really cant fault it. Super fast, great camera and terrific UI.

I have the P9 myself, but I'm thinking about getting this later in the year, better memory & more battery life is all I need really
Got the p10 plus. With nova launcher running. The camera literally is the best ive used. The phone in general is utterly brilliant.
Really love huawei's phones, I hope they catch up with some of the flagship features on currently popular phones
Thank you, i am in search for a Huawei phone, buti really could not decide witch one will suite me better... until now
You are the best info channel on youtube
My brother had this phone and myself the mate 10. Both are excellent phones and we loved our Huawei.
3:02 uhmmm, it clearly didn't launch the game faster than S8.
Even Steven haha
Even Steven runs way smoother though but yea I chuckled when I saw the s8 was faster lol
I was looking for this comment haha
camera lag?
Even Steven I was like aahhhh

Fernando Gonzales You've essentially described my experience with the now much older P9 (3Gb too..Color me surprised when it worked so well).
Fernando Gonzales

Yes your wife cant take photos as you mention on every thread for your own personal agenda against Huawei.
I really like your after the buzz videos, thanks!
Two years ago I barely knew about Huawei other than the company that really put the hurt on Ericsson (am from Sweden) with regards to telecommunications equipment, and to some extent been using their mobile modems for some years.

Still have one to this day. I am watching this video on my p10. Great phone! Love it!
Nice! I would like to see a S8 after the Buzz. I am planning on filming that as well.
Damn. I'm never getting tired of that awesome introduction of the after the buzz series!

when you use Huawei phones , you won't change to any other brand
Nart Tsay My wife's returning hers today
WGACA lol
Correct in my case
I got p8 max and now it runs for 3 years no lag !!! I gave it to mum i got p10 now
LOL YEAH, I have a p9lite and I will be changing to a new phone and I am thinking maybe p10 or p10pro. HUAWEI is a good brand.
Always the favorite start for after the buzz videos
The camera is really a night vision king!
If you get a tripod (just a cheap one) and turn on the "night shot"- no camera can beat that!!
Weixing Tang even without a tripod?
Bought a P10 Plus, really hyped for the phone! My only complain is that it still not arrived at my home.
on a side note the hardware stability on the video has been improved on the 1080p 60fps as far as I can see been using this phone for a while and I am not dissapointed.
OMG man will you please stop it with your low light crap? Plus no one want to know your wife's thoughts on the damn thing. Stop spamming man.
ke9ine Low light crap? It's about the most important thing about a smartphone camera. But fine, you go ahead and settle for less.

something about this phones design just captures me, so slick and simple
using the plus version and so far I am loving it! 😁😁😁
it's still a good pick for the 4th quarter of 2018 right?
This dude still says his name at least 5 times in every vid, that alone is why Juan is my favorite dude on pocketnow .
I have the p10 plus. Summilux lens. I love it. Goes with my Chinese Seagull Dive watch.
The camera is the best one I have ever had on smartphone.
Pocketnow
If the P10 lacks stereo speakers and water resistance, then the Plus version has both of them, so why not doing a p10 plus after the buzz to see how it stacks against the competition?
i am Huawei Mi Rivera with Pocket now daily
Fupa 😂😂😂😂😂
Fupa lmao
Fupa Rivera became immune when people make fun of his name. Anyway he started it.
looooool
HHAHAHAHA lefao
Jaime i see you are using no screen protector, but still your screen looks totally fine. I wanted to ask if the issue with the non oleophobic screens was fixed in the newer huawei p10s. Thanks !

Thank you! I'm planning to buy Huawei P10 late 2017. Thank you for this video. God bless!
I absolute love this Phone. So happy with mine. Nice vid my man
goddamn, just bougth this phone a hour ago and i have been watching reviews ever since. can't wait
Yes I have huawei p smart❤️
How is its camera compared to the oneplus 3 and do you think its worth the upgrade?
2017-2018, I still love my P10 😊
Is the phone available for USA usage and where is the best place to buy? I bought a Maze Alpha and it's useless in the US.
I picked one of these up almost new for £375 bargain. Had a 3t that was very good but wanted something a little smaller! I disagree with battery life, I don't game but use my phone a good bit through the day and still have usually about 60% battery left the time I head home from work.
Great! Make such a video of as many devices as possible
Have the phone 2months now. Is Just great really fast. Good pictures. Just an amazing phone
Hi i have a few questions about heat on the phone.
I know it gets hot when gaming most phones do but is it dangerously hot for the phone? Like it can decrese performance?
And does it get warm when doing basic things? Like cheking facebook, setting, using flaslight and talking on the phone?
But also does it get warm or stay cold when you charge it without using it?
can't wait for p11.
P20 lol

TheFabbening lol this is so funny, I thought I was the only one that thought he flashed his name too much
*my name jaime rivera*
3:39 Dear Jaime, when it comes to manufacturer's skins Android version has nothing to do with battery life. Android Marshmallow was meant to be a huge upgrade from the Lollipop when it comes to battery life but my Huawei P8 lost about an hour of screen on time. From average 3,5-4h on Lollipop it dropped to 2-2,5 hours on Marshmallow.
Does the same apply to the honor 9, I'm torn between LG G6 and the Honor 9
EMUI camera app has HDR enabled all the time but they don't mention it, sometimes a toast message will tell you that it's using HDR
Do you recommend me the phone or buy mid range one with pezeless screen ?
Im looking at this or the Google Pixel XL... What do you think?? Pixel or Huawei p10 plus?
Dazzling Blue or Graphite black? Which color would u pick and why
The Blue one doesn't get any smudges on the back, but I just prefer the black one. ^JR
Pocketnow Thank you sir. I'll get the black one
Uaing honer 8 with emui 5.0 and kirin 950 it is still one of the best out there..
disregarding the size (5 vs 5.5 in), how will you rate it compared to S7 edge? considering its price is lower now.
wondering should I wait for the release of Snapdragon 845 or get this phone...
I have the p10 is very niceeee and its so premium.. no lag every day a good phone and a good price!
Which is the case being talked about in the video? Anyone knows?
I need advice. Back in 2014 I bought the Galaxy S5 and it's still running rather good, with a few flaws such as the wifi lag and the battery... anyways, I'm sonsidering switching to the P10, and am a bit worried about how that would work for me because the next time I'll be bying a new phone after this would be in a few years. M.F. Luder nobody wants iOS clone software either, give lighter skins with cool features like oxygen os and moto's skim
Well luckily whit Huawei's case you can download third party theme to make the UI aesthetic look more like stock Android if that is what you like.
Both of those look like stock android

Ultimate Gohan There is nothing in Emui, that makes it a iOS clone.
Bro even if all phones had stock pure Android (which they should) you can easily theme them and add all the features you want with launchers and apps, it still is the highly customizable Android we love after all! Also updates won't be such a hassle.
have you got a video of the lg g6 after the buzz?

I never saw the iPhone resemblance until he mentioned it.
I really liked this phone's looks until the G6 came out. And then I liked the G6 until the S8 was released. And now I like the Note 8. Now, the P10 feels like something from the distant past. =(

LG G6 vs P10. Which phone has the better camera for smartphone photography?
Better p10 or honor 9? Because there is like 100 usd difference and I dont own much, as I understood the functionality and all are the same, but p10 has leica lens, but, I find the honor 9 really ugly with the curve glass on the back....but again, 100 usd....what you think? I use it for normal everiday use and sometimes to modify docs and play, I have now a s5, would be the honor 9 enough to comlare with it?

one thing I didn't like about this phone is the lack of oleophobic coating, made the screen look dirty when off
