Like my good friend Loyd Christmas says...I like it a lot!
Also cuts fries for supper.
You should send Chris one of these to test out at "IN THE WOODYARD" as much as he loves his easton made products!
The 16 way knife put the freaking potatoe in my wedge genious it splits very nice uniform wood perfect for the type of processing i do eastonmade im just excited to see what you guys bring to the table next youns keep getting better and better from the conveyers to the knives god bless you all at eastonmade keep up the good work
Would like to see one sent to Chris at In the Woodyard, to help him with less resplits. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
In The Woodyard is down to 20% or so splits with the wood he's been running through the 22MB.
@@thefirewooddoctor
He will need a cleaner.
Send Chris from the wood yard one of those that's the size he needs so he doesn't have to respilt his wood please.
That thing is a beast. Wow. What perfect size pieces. Well done
Bundle wood straight off of the processor! I think that will be a popular choice once you get the details figured out, nicely done!
There’s something very satisfying about watching firewood processing videos. I could watch them all day. I think two men could cut a years worth of firewood in just a day or so with that processor.
Will take several people stacking like crazy and never getting ahead 😊
Your innovative designs just keep coming! That is a complex wedge… the geometry to provide adequate relief is not a simple thing to achieve. It appears to work great!
All I can say is WOW!!!
That wedge is amazing and those splits are the absolute perfect size!!
It’s so dang fast, unreal speed 😊❤❤
Perfect for In The Woodyard's product
Awesome! I suggest Chris from " In The Woodyard" as your first test dummy, I mean, test subject. I believe this wedge would take his resplit percentage to zero. This wedge is a gamechanger. The top piece seems to really stop the kick up and back of the top cut.
First person I thought of too!
I cut cookwood and it perfect dropped resplit almost completely to zero
This wedge is outstanding! Talk about production increase!!! I am always amazed at the ingenuity of your team. The geometry of the wedge layout seems to really be effective. And this is with "Blunt" knives. Sharpening the knives would really decrease the chafe (Splinters).
They have done their homework and keep getting better
Good improvement, converts the unit from a boilerwood machine to a domestic / restaurant type machine
That's a good deal faster than a "draw-back and resplit" machine. Nice work guys
It looks like a alien spacecraft from a sci-fi movie. It works great.👍
Assume looking 👀 machine Andrew ❤😊😮
Who needs a box wedge now? Very impressive and a great solution.
Great to see such fantastic innovation in all your equipment. Business built on splitting speed and quality, not all about low cost. Good job!
Pretty nice product coming out of the wedge! Thanks for having us over! 🔥💯👍. Andrew from NB :)
I like that. Chris needs one!!
That is a very complex wedge. It is always impressive what you and your team come up with!
hi there nice machine , see you at the Paul Bunyon show , need to come sign the saw . best to all john
I think Chris needs one. Just tell him to get bigger trees.
The speed is really impressive. Have you considered using your stone maker to press wood chip heat blocks for a zero waste process? It's always a question of return of investment, that being said, the shear volume of scrap should provide a good source of material to chip. Anything coming off a cleaner shouldn't need a huge chipper to process. I see those heating blocks selling for more than the cost of a landscaping block.
Your display at Paul Bunyan was first class.
Ive tried it but didnt have much luck with it
the 16way wedge is a game changer if you are splitting 14 inch diameter logs have a good day Andrew,
Looks like it puts nice pieces out, one swipe is better then 4-5 too.
Andrew, if I were ever to buy a 48C I would absolutely want that wedge! It would be awesome for bundle wood!
After I get my back “fixed”, if I’m allowed, that’s what I want on my 22-28. That thing is wicked
Next year ill take the 48c and this wedge and the 8 way.. May 2024 delivery.. unless you can drop it off on your way back after the weekend...lol😂
That is very impressed Andrew. The job it did splitting many different size diameter logs as consistent it did is quite impressive. Adjustable height is also key. Great job guys.
Nice setup. Key for success of this wedge is that you staggered the contact points so that the round is be split at various stages. Easier and less stress. I did a modification to my 4 way to a six way on my TW HD 3 splitter, works great!
Very impressive did a Great Job !
You have the best equipment available. want to loan me one? LOL Good job
a perfect match for the DCS10. Now the hunt for the perfect 12" telephone pole begins
I have a feeling this wedge is going to sell well
If I had the logs ready that machine would do my full years supply of firewood in a matter of hours
Loveit . Keep up the good work
Chris from In the Woodyard would probably love this wedge
Me only take is the conveyer needs to be put on Hy gear....to big of a mess after the wedge and is getting on the process of raising and lowering it for different size lumber .Nice knew wedge.much regards.
Looks like pushing out some beautiful splits.
wowsers !!!!! when push comes to shove thats to the nuts!!!!! congratulations mr eastonmade
Nice size wood. If people are doing resplitts, this would help that out.
Man that machine is fast. What takes me months to do, that machine could do it in a afternoon.
Great job Andrew.
It’s anything but simple!! I tried to Build 3 and they all JAMMED!!!!😂😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️
that work nice👍
Looks pretty darn good to me, looks like you may have knocked it out of the park.😊
Nice
Those rollers are nice, one thing I mis on my Pilkemaster.
one day hopefully sooner than later My company will obtain a machine like that.been hand cutting for over 16 years I'm slap wore out I just can't bring myself to let,ing My crew go to save the money up to purchase one.😢.a machine like that would be life change, ing . keep up the good work Andrew and all of your crew.
Nice ,, I wonder who mentioned this a year or so back? Ya done good boy! Man that machine just eats those logs up
Awsome piece of equipment Andrew
Absolutely awesome to watch. This is a dream machine for me. What type of wood were you running?
Would be nice for horizontal machine too
Looks like it works good. Hope to see you Saturday at Escanaba show.
This wedge looks like a beast. We very processing chickens about 20 miles from my house Wednesday evening and a buddy was showing pics of a bell processor. The guy lives just down from him im not sure what size it is. In southern illinois in the states. Had a big blade on it. In a couple years I'm hope to get a 12-22.
You really need a disc cleaner running this wedge! Nice job!
Hey Andrew how are you doing great video and great product 👍
I like the guard on the top, I know the perfect candidate to test it out for durability! It looks like the r&d has paid off! Great wedge! Will that run on the 40C? I like the step stool you made at the 18 minute mark. An unadvertised feature of the 48C.
Very interesting I guess this will stop re splits
Up to a certain size. The more critical point is the shape and size of the pieces
Excellent!
The wait is finally over
Awesome!!
❤❤❤❤❤ nice machine Andrew and team!
Lookss like it works very well on a variety of different sized wood.. would be an interesting test to run that pile of splits through disk cleaner and then another equivocal amount of wood off say the current 8 or 12 way wedges.. i dont think this new one put out all that much waste, especially if you are using it for the intended purpose packaged wood
Andrew, u need to design a machine that will do something with the slash?
I like this!!!
Its a Beast Andrew 👏🇺🇸
I'd have killed for a setup like this about twenty years ago. So much jand splitting oak, walnut, black cherry, sweet gum, hickory, and pecan wood. Of all those it was the sweetgum that would absolutely wear you out. Even straight sections has these horrible twisted fibers that would just grab the maul and not let it go.
Finally resorted to getting an electric chainsaw just to cut the sweetgum into rough wedges.
But yeah, a processor like this would have made the summer cutting and splitting much more bearable.
That thing is really cool. Having never ran a firewood processor how many cords an hour can a machine like this do?
3-4 full cord per hour
No more resplits for @ in the wood yard!!!
That is awesome are you going to have this at Bunyan??
Bet it makes awesome cheese fries
🤘
Are you bringing this new wedge to Bunyan? I might have to test it out😂
That box wedge makes nice size pieces of fire wood but it also looks like it makes a lot of what you call trash unusable splinter pieces!
Would love u to send one to hard working man for a demo lol
Ian, I agree 100%!!
Is this wedge compatible with the earlier model 60C? The splitting chamber is smaller vs the new and improved. Great change & design 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
We are going to try it on one.
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters if you would like to send a wedge my way I would gladly test it out 😃
It works but you are turning a lot of firewood into kindling and scrap.
Will there be a version of this wedge for the 37d splitter?
Can that16 way wedge work on 37d
Makes some nice looking wood but makes almost as much scrap. Need good market for kindling as well. You guys are always leading the way. Nice work.
Is the "Spoiler" on top of the wedge just supposed to stop any wood from getting flipped back into the splitting chamber?
Yes it works very well. I think we are going to move it forward towards the splitting chamber
I know with dump trailers I have owned that it takes awhile for powder coat to smooth up and for them to dump well when new.
Do you see a change in how wedges operate between the bare prototypes and once they have been powder coated? Does the paint hender the performance some until they shine up? Looks like the team is getting real close on getting the 16 way figured out!👍
I havenet noticed a big difference between unoaunted and painted wedges
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Copy!👍
Very nice. Will you have it at Escanaba?
We wont have it in escanaba.
Im down here in marquand mo at trackside hardwoods andrew how would a guy go about purchasing some winter apparel l8ke a sock hat or a hoodie ? I live an bleed east9nmade words cant excplain god bless eastonmade
We should have a store opened up in the next month or so. If you give jeremy a call we can get you down some stuff
It seems to make a lot of waist
How many cords can that process an hour?
Depends on the quality of the wood, but 3-4 full cord an hour is easily achievable
Curious, has the wedge been stress relieved? SA-516N material?
No. Use ar400 and dont get to fancy with it. We have really good success with minimal failure
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters: Hi! I got another question.... Have you tried using HARDOX to make the wedges?
@@johnnyhomegrownholmgren9999 ar400 and hardox are essentially the same
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters : That’s great! 👍 My Idea was, If hardox are able to handle all the wear and abuse onto an excavator, it might work good for all the high wear surfaces on a woodsplitter. Keep on doing a great work, boys! Best wishes from Sweden. 🇸🇪 (new subscriber aswell)
Will it fit on the 22MB?
I bet Chris is itching to get his hands on this wedge if it does fit the 22MB!
Can you bring me one to Bunyan?
If you give jeremy a ring we probably could
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Done!
Consistent sizes are good, but Man does that generate a lot of debris.
You should see the debris the 12-way wedge on my Wolfe Ridge makes when splitting dead standing oak.
The more wedges, the more slash you will get with any machine out there. The biggest thing is time is money and what will get you to the end goal faster.
Shows real actions not editing. A few fines but show that dont sugar coat like others. Guy now know you cant compress 1 inch of hardwood it dont work. Nice now that new machines can split out bottom not only top
Looks great!
