    I can personally vouch for the 22-28 I am very partial to the 22-28 I own a tree company and needed a splitter to split unsplitable wood. I talked to Andrew and he recommended the 22-28 I got this September and it is by far a superior splitter than any other on the market. It is built like a tank, will split anything and is a production monster. It isn't just the splitter and conveyor I have it is Andrew and his crew as well. Absolutely professional in every aspect of the business. I can't recommend Eastonmade enough.

    We bundle camping wood and wrap it with a "twister" brand wraper. I have a big "American" brand wood splitter now but I can see your machine is superior in many ways. A friend of mine is ordering a 12-22 from you next week and I'm thinking I'll show up at your road trip to Vermont this summer to buy a 12-22 with the box splitter set up. Your attention to detail on the wear points is what impressed me the most with your pusher system.

    Nice machine. A friend of mine bought one. Could use a little bit of American refinement however, but a definitely well built machine. They got the cycle time down to the fastest i've seen in awhile. Looking forward to talking to them about a custom build, if not some components and I'll build them something even they will think twice about. See you then.

    . This Video is a good example of the consistent Quality of the Eastonmade splitters , from the entry level Ultra to the top of the line 22-28 model you sacrifice nothing in the fit , finish and QUALITY of build in each model . Not only that but they are engineered to give as much performance as possible for your Dollar ! If your considering a commercial grade splitter I would Highly recommend one of these EASTONMADE products . I have never seen a company who continually strives to finds way s to make a great product better . I ve had my 12-22 for 3 months it is an absolute beast ! and in that short time 12 week time span it has been upgraded with bearing buddies on the axle 's , and a redesigned pusher to accommodate an innovative retracting arm so you can make effortless use of the NEW BOX BLADE . This shows a Flagship company reinventing the wheel to make THE BEST PRODUCT POSSIBLE for it's customer . Great Video

    Going to ask probably a dumb question in your eyes. Auto cycle is by far the greatest selling point because I think all people (including myself)are just wanting to be faster. Why can’t auto cycle be an option on the smallest splitter?When you not a commercial spitter but still want your time back it’s really hard to let go of another 5g’s when you don’t need the adjustable wedge and coolers and other heaviness.

    • @EastonmadeWoodSplitters

    Is there a reason why no one connects a big flywheel to the engine on hydraulic woodsplitters? I can't think of any reason why it would only work on the kinetic splitters. It seems like an easy way to increase the speed and use the eniine power more efficiently.

      The kinetic flywheels have a really large gear reduction. They dont spin at engine rpm. If they did you would need to have them balanced really well to take the shake out of them. If you put it directly on the engine I would think it would take the crank bearings out pretty quick.

  • @mossymaple
    @mossymaple 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hello, I ordered the 22-28. With 7 way box wedge 2 days ago.But I was trying to make a decisions on the 36 " stroke with the 7 way box wedge only because I was trying to give myself a little Lee way if I made a mistake bucking my wood tho the exact dimensions to fit in the 24" stroke model. Gerry was trying to explain it to me, and I think I made the the wrong decision. And want to switch my order back to the 24" . Reason being , Is that I want the machine to run fast, and may never spit anything over 24-26 inches in length.
    But if going to the 36" stroke is going to cause me to be waiting for the stroke to go all the way back to 36" just to split a 26" length of wood, then I think the 7 way box wedge will be away to slow, waiting for the return stroke? This is the dilemma that is driving me up a wall. Speed to split an inch or so longer wood?
    Do you have any suggestions?
    MAYBE it's better if I word it this way. WHAT THE SHORTEST PIECE of wood will NOT Work IN THE 36" STROKE WITH A BOX WEDGE THAT THE PULL BACK STROKE WILL FAIL TO AUTOMATICALLY REPOSITION THE WOOD IN THE RAIL CRADLE ON ITS OWN?
    WHAT IS THE CYCLE TIME OF 36" STROKE
    ALSO CAN THE STROKE ADJUSTABLE STOP BE USED WITH THE BOX WEDGES? IF SO CAN YOU ELABORATE ON THIS AS WELL?
    I DID SEE ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS WHERE YOU DO CAUTION PEOPLE ABOUT SOME SETUPS MAKING THE MACHINES EXESSIVLEY SLOWER.
    ARE THE CONCERNS I'M ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT ONE OF THESE SITUATIONS THAT MAY MAKE THE MACHINE EXESSIBLEY SLOWER?
    MY GOAL WAS TO BE ABLE TO SPLIT A AN INCH OR TWO OCCASIONALLY OVER 24"
    BUT IF IT'S AT A DRAMATIC LOSS OF SPEED AND CYCLE TIME . LIKE WAITING FOR THE PUSHER ON A BOX WEDGE TO REPOSITION ALL THE WAY AT 36" JUST TO DO 26" LENGTHS OF WOOD, THAN I DON'T THINK I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION IN ASKING GERRY TO ADJUST MY ORDER TO THE 36" STROKE AND USING IT WITH THE 7 WAY BOX WEDGE?
    IF I HAD TO WAIT FOR AN ADDITIONAL 1O" OF UNEEDED TRAVEL BEFORE I COULD GO FORWARD AGAIN. I HOPE GERRY AND YOU CAN HAVE PATIENT WITH ME,.LOL.
    AS THIS IS A VERY BIG INVESTMENT FOR ME, AND DONT WANT TO RUN A MACHINE THAT'S CAPABLE OF SPEED, then custom build it to run LIKE A TURTLE specifically when using a 7 way box wedge. ALL FOR WANTING TO MERELY SPLIT WOOD AN INCH OR SO LONGER THAN THE STANDARD MODEL 24 STROKE. YOUR FEED BACK IS APPRECIATED, THANKS AGAIN.

      @@EastonmadeWoodSplitters hello, I tried to dial 404# while on the main menu, and it let me leave a voice mail. Yesterday I added the 36" with 7 way box wedge. And I am trying to cancel that order and go back to the original order of 22-28 24" STROKE model with 6 way and 7 way Box Wedge.
      I'm very concerned about shipping, as I don't have any available means to remove this splitter from a freight truck bed. I wasn't told this until after I placed my order. Lol...
      I'm going to need someone from your company to help arrange something for me, as I don't know what to do. Please call me back if you could. Thanks again for your response.

    Stupid question but what would a ball park number be on the difference in fuel consumption be between the 2 strongest splitters? I understand there are a lot of variables but in an 8 hour day would the largest use 25% more fuel?

    Iam in BC Cut 600+ cord a year lots of very large fir snarly as well like the speed of 12 -22 and strength of 22 -28 whats the diff in speed ? whats max load for the log lift ?

    • @EastonmadeWoodSplitters
      @EastonmadeWoodSplitters  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The 22-28 is 1.5 seconds slower on the cycle. You likey wouldnt notice a difference in them when running. We have a rating for the lift. It will pick up whatever you put on it. It becomes more a matter of personal safety rather than will the machine do it
