I’ve learnt this since performing. I started off shy and now I just go crazy and have a laugh with the crowd. Your delivery is not only in your voice it’s in your whole being.
💯 I just can’t take an ARTIST serious if they don’t write/create their stuff. May be a singer, may be a rapper, may be an entertainer, but not a full packaged artist. I get the comparison to companies- but to me It’s different when it comes to art as opposed to business. But at the end of the day, people will listen to and buy what they want- and at this point, most “artists” are just figureheads/products with a corporation/deep pockets behind them so artistic integrity, as you said, isn’t something that “matters” to our industry at the moment. Most people will accept sweatshop produced songs performed by paid sponsors/actors.
9INE PLANETS Definitely an artist. I mean we’re talking about rappers- I’m saying people who claim to be rappers but don’t write their own music. Basically most people are performers not artists/creators.
Being able to deliver a flow and give a good performance and have that it factor makes someone a artist. Guess what great actors don't write the words and the script or the screenplay but they are great actors that give good performances and have Star quality
Factz. My lyrical ability has always been amazing but once I started punching in while recording and putting more aggression and swag on my delivery people look at my music as if it’s better with this one lil trick. Great point.
If you don't believe it as an artist how do you expect the audience to. Delivery is hands down the secret ! Accompanied by melody and lyrics is what makes you great, but melody and lyrics alone can't carry you. Just like boxing has 3 fundamentals (Offence, Defence, Endurance), so does being an artist.
I think when we talk about artists, particularly rappers, your writing skills is a big part of what the lovers of the craft hold dear. This is not necessarily the truth for the average fan. They just want a dope song and could care less if the artists is writing their songs
Lil yachty's problem imo, in terms of delivery, is that his tone is very much monotonous and ignorant of the the beat or key. So it's not an appealing auditory experience. Its almost as if he's reading his verse off his phone and doesn't really care how it comes across
that was a good chat from you and i do believe it really comes down to delivery and i learn something new everyday. thats my challenge for me cuz im a little bit all over the place but this video helps me now to study more and find my pocket. Thanks BrandMan.
This is 110% #RealTalk and #excellent #advice. As a rapper I'm a much better songwriter then I am a singer. I have a natural talent for writing Hooks and melodies and even course Bridges. However I don't have the strongest singing voice. So what I'm doing now is finding other people who have stronger singing Talent than I do the singing the songs that I write. But then I'll throw a rap verse on there so I still get to perform on the song as well. This allows me to be more diverse and open up my music to a larger audience.
Artists wish they could make music all day but they can’t because they have to go perform or attend events, etc; and that’s where they get caught up really. They don’t get enough time to create and they start to leech off of those (songwriters, etc;) who do have the time. I can go do for shows/tours a few times a year, but I will always need about half of the year to work on me and my music.
Thank you for this video. But I have a question related to the algorithm of social media. I have been shadow banned and reported multiple times and I've noticed no posts or pictures of mine are ever in hashtags or explorer. I have less than 200 followers. Should I reset my Page?
Thank you bro I appreciate this video because you're speaking facts! I have a question, as an artist how do you improve your delivery in songs and performances?
Very True. So glad I was Blessed to have the talent to write my own lyrics and deliver them.=🔥🎶🔥🎶 However, I still have things to work on myself. You never stop learning or done molding yourself.
I'm the next big thing because I have an unwavering confidence that I won't stop making music until I make $7,000,000,000. I'll gladly be on your show next year
Major keys in this vid as always 🔥 🔑 also, brands don’t appeal to EVERYBODY, that’s why we got Tupac fans and we got lil yachty fans and vice versa. There’s somethin out there for everybody 💯
Think of it like this: Who would you rather accept a blue-cooked steak from? A back street burger flipper or a 5 star Micheline chef? I know where I'd rater eat my steak!
2:22 - I've had this happen so much.. 💀 Someone was recently annoyed with me so they didn't wanna listen, even though it's sound, but they'd listen to the same thing and/or mess from others.. 👀 - @Acharich
Sean, this might be the only thing I disagree with you on. I will never, and I mean NEVER, support an artist who does not write and/or produce their own music. By themselves, ALONE!
No matter how good you write, the song must slap
Zack Ceme th-cam.com/video/qKgZW_aLj6k/w-d-xo.html peep it fam 🙏🏾
😅😂
totally agree, the first thing the listener hears is the performers vocal tone. that can make or break a song. I talk alot about this is in my course
I’ve learnt this since performing. I started off shy and now I just go crazy and have a laugh with the crowd. Your delivery is not only in your voice it’s in your whole being.
The Brand isn’t the Man... the Man IS the Brand
KenEB #imstealingthis
And the man who is running this brand is brandman
You gotta be an Actor *and* an Artist
💯 I just can’t take an ARTIST serious if they don’t write/create their stuff. May be a singer, may be a rapper, may be an entertainer, but not a full packaged artist.

Shot of Shy 💯💯💯
How do you think Drake is still relevant? 😂
Apex Phoenix Productions relevance makes you a celebrity, not an artist.🙈
Being able to deliver a flow and give a good performance and have that it factor makes someone a artist. Guess what great actors don't write the words and the script or the screenplay but they are great actors that give good performances and have Star quality
That’s going to be the difference between someone who wants to make music for the love of it versus someone who wants to make music their business!
Yeah cause the person who make music for the love will be broke and the person who make music as a business will be rich.
You can do both.
Never thought about it this way, man you really are 10 steps ahead on everything music related 👏👏
New subscriber from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱
I do think ur right regarding performance and delivery and packaging and presentation of things.
Factz. My lyrical ability has always been amazing but once I started punching in while recording and putting more aggression and swag on my delivery people look at my music as if it’s better with this one lil trick. Great point.
Punching in changed the game for me!

Ironically nobody breaks it down like you.
Great topic & video.
Nothing but Facts. A Composer writes the scorse but it takes the delivery of the instrumentalist and vocalist to put it together
Comes down to people buying WHO you are, not exactly WHAT you’re doing/saying
I think when we talk about artists, particularly rappers, your writing skills is a big part of what the lovers of the craft hold dear. This is not necessarily the truth for the average fan. They just want a dope song and could care less if the artists is writing their songs
This is gold, so true. Thx for sharing! Like Jerry Weintraub said, its all Packaging. GOLD
This is why Lil Waynes The Goat. Best Punchlines, Best Delivery
iam_mycall feel like Andre 3000 got em on the lyrics and delivery combination
but that's just me
Wayne a beast tho
He did the right thing. Opening peoples eyes to more opportunities
You are awesome! Thanks for this!!!

Somnea kid sucks
Exactly
Your Right... Delivery Is 🔑
this is so true! delivery is an art form itself
So true 🔥. On point as always 👌🏽
Thank you Sean, this is such a good video.
i do believe that to you have to have a connection with the music.
YUP - say it again... this is a gem that most won't even understand 👽
Brandman always speaking facts
Damn, Brazil in here really learning some tips!!
Greatly informative as always. I also feel we've been conditioned to appreciate the final product and not the process.
Underrated skill.
that was a good chat from you and i do believe it really comes down to delivery and i learn something new everyday. thats my challenge for me cuz im a little bit all over the place but this video helps me now to study more and find my pocket. Thanks BrandMan.
Whats the last couple books you've read Brandman?
BrandMan always delivers, of course. However, this particular installment is elite in its informational content. Keep up the exceptional work!

The saying goes its not what you say its how you say it

heyo Brandman I think you for an "L" (not a meme) in the title "skill".
Thanks for the wisdom!

Perfect video finna work on my delivery with my music
Underated things flow and keeping time
I've been saying this for years it's all about the delivery doesn't matter who wrote the lyrics it's all about the performance of the song.
Real talk
that intro crazy
Thank you bro I appreciate this video because you're speaking facts! I have a question, as an artist how do you improve your delivery in songs and performances?
I like this video! show's you really got your ear to the ground :)
That's why almost every song Uzi sings now is a hit
Pretty much what makes Biggie the greatest rapper. He could talk about walking up the block & you would be amazed
Very True. So glad I was Blessed to have the talent to write my own lyrics and deliver them.=🔥🎶🔥🎶
However, I still have things to work on myself. You never stop learning or done molding yourself.
NF writes all of his

Real Talk💯🔥✨
That's what's up 💯
Great advice, If your ever in Sydney would be wonderful to have you on our show 'The Convo Couch' :)
3:34 I said that RIGHT before you said it.
Delivery=Good Acting which is why Drake is so big cause he's a great 'face'.🧠
THEY NEED THE SAUCEEEEE!!!🍾💯
Think of it like this: Who would you rather accept a blue-cooked steak from? A back street burger flipper or a 5 star Micheline chef?
I know where I'd rater eat my steak!
Do you do yoga bro, your perception is brilliant and cuts clear with much simplicity. Bravo 👏 ❤
100% Know yo role
@Safaree suffered through this. The stuff he wrote was on point.
2:22 - I've had this happen so much.. 💀 Someone was recently annoyed with me so they didn't wanna listen, even though it's sound, but they'd listen to the same thing and/or mess from others.. 👀 - @Acharich
Facts💯
Absolutely 💯
👏👏
If Ella Mai was smart she would’ve put Jacques on a official remix
Sean, this might be the only thing I disagree with you on. I will never, and I mean NEVER, support an artist who does not write and/or produce their own music. By themselves, ALONE!
You already do you just don’t know it lmao
This is the reason NLE CHOPPA blew up imo. The energy he brings to the mic and delivery is right in your face
Spot on. That's why people like cardi. Who got better delivery than her?
Right.. ghost ridahs everywhere smh sad
Drake
Cardi B raps but she isnt Hiphop just because she raps and is from BX. It's poprap.
Drake.
@brandmansean rap is not pop if think it is then stop. This is a singer-songwriter genre.
LaSlime the first
lil yatchy is weak like the music going stail like no one wanna hear melodys start putting bar for bar
Gus Martinez he’s been doing that. U sound dumb
