    Kyle iv been watching from dam near the beginning in Colorado. I cant tell ya enough how cool it is to see you grow and progress!. I know that makes me sound old but dam dude you've come a long way! From throwing build together last min with the boys, to building full on race cars that hold record! You guys find a way to make cool content consistently and not many can do that! Keep that circle small and keep those boys happy. Yall are doing amazing! Just wanted to send some love from Canada

    Don't really care who was technically at fault, but who stops in a travel lane because of a flat tire?! Not only putting your car at risk, but also your own life if someone is going fast enough...all to avoid possibly damaging a rim. Stoked to see you have this thing though!

      Right? Who’s fault is that? I mean there’s no way that truck driver could have prevented that. There’s no way it’s his fault. So who’s fault is it? The funny thing is you would think I would know as I’m actually a licensed auto & property adjuster, but I don’t do auto claims at all, only property.
      On the one hand I can understand pulling over if you have a flat tire, but on the other hand there’s no way the truck driver could have really prevented that. Even if the truck driver was further behind the other car that swerved it probably wouldn’t have made any real difference.

    • @MrWoodyBalto
      @MrWoodyBalto ปีที่แล้ว +30

      @@ChristopherGuilday I would say 100% the Tesla drivers fault. You don't stop in a travel lane unless your car is completely disabled. He was more worried about damaging the rim and it cost him the car.

      I don’t think Kyle would do that to us 😂. He said it was going to built to a full race nsx, no way it’s going to Tesla powered when the other nsx is already faster than a Tesla. I think the tubed out civic is going to come into play here because it’s been sitting idle and he was unsure what to do with it.
      But no way this drive train is going into the black nsx. I feel like he wants the black nsx to break 6’s on a k series because the mr2 is sort of “getting there” but because of the wheelbase putting the power down is a struggle bus. I’m thinking the black nsx could do it.

    Bro, that GMC was tailgating the F out of that car in front of it. Had they been a proper following distance, he would've had time to stop. I can not stand people who tailgate especially when you're already speeding! AGH!!

    • @dkis8730
      @dkis8730 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shouldn't have been tailgating, but Tesla driver definitely shouldn't have stopped there. That was bound to happen sooner or later, all the cars behind him were swerving at the last second and he still decided not to move. I bet they were only there for a couple of minutes at the most before it happened. Honestly kinda feels like an insurance scam to me. Hope insurance ruled it at least 50/50, if not Tesla drivers fault.
      Even if he wasn't tailgating, the car in the other lane would have been right next to him, and I doubt the brakes work that well on that old SUV.

  • @kieren7763

    As a automotive metal worker if i had to fix it with primitive tools I would use a heavy duty ratchet strap or something similar blocks of wood, hammers and dollies. Tie the ratchet strap to the tree it has more control hit the blocks of wood from the inside with sledge hammers to push it out bit by bit wood doesn't leave marks on the metal but hammers do so avoid direct hammer strikes on the metal even hammer it while pulling works really well too

    Hey just wanted the let u know u have another option to charge ur Tesla much faster than u currently are charging through the regular wall plug . We have ours hooked up to the 220 outlet for our dryer. U can buy an adapter from Tesla that will let u hook up ur regular Tesla charger to 220. It’s not quite as fast as a super charger but it’s way faster than the regular wall plug. U get like 7 miles an hour from the regular wall outlet u will get more like 25 miles per hour through 220. I think I remember u guys got a couple 220 outlets installed when u got electrical work done at ur shop so it should be simple. The adapter is like $60 but obviously it’s well worth the $. Good luck can’t wait to see what this project is all about!

    Dude, nothing wrong with going EV. You’re young, it’ll only become more prevalent in your life. As already known, the torque and 0 to 60 times are amazing!! The technology is awesome and just the next step.

    I’m an electrical contractor and if you just plug the car into a 240 v Nema 14-50 receptacle it will charge wayyyyy damn faster for you! I instal these outlets for people all the time to charge their cars

    I'm enjoying the plaid content honestly. Especially from a guy like you who isn't necessarily into that kind of thing. Different perspective of the ev world

  • @kane2103

    Only thing I can think of that this Plaid is destined for is Cleeters spectator drags, or fitting some sand scoop tires on it and taking it to the dunes. Other wild ideas I thought of but think too ought
    A left field was small jet engines on back but warpedperception already did it or somehow fitting a k swap in the truck k attached to an airboat prop😂😂

    If you have a sliding bearing puller, put a self taper screw through instead of the fine thread it comes with, drill some holes where the big dents are, screw the puller in and start yanking away

    If people have problems with you diving into Tesla content then that’s their problem. Your channel is growing and boosted Hondas are only going to reach so many people. If it’s rad… just fucking enjoy it.

    I love the EV technology just not the forcing of it onto people. Damn Darrell just stopped in a travel lane for a flat tire? Pull off the road in a parking lot, thats how people get killed plus expecting somebody to change a tire in that traffic just showed what can happen. Glad nobody was badly hurt but damn think ahead and not about scratching a wheel

    In Finland, we have a warning triangle in use, but the warning triangle is often not remembered to be placed or taken far enough away from the car. The triangle should be at least 100-300 meters away from the vehicle, not a few tens of meters.and
    You often see that the warning triangle is left right next to the car's rear tire or the car owner doesn't even have one and it would be good to have one in any country you live in and if it is even mandatory, I would still use one myself because it saves you from being rear-ended.
