    Such a legend, he’s truly the best to ever do it!!! James is a close second but I’m sorry, Ricky was just an absolute monster on the track and just about impossible to catch!!!! Any dirt bike rider in the world will tell you he’s the goat too, hands down!!! 🐐💯

      Stewart was the fastest rider hands down, but he didn’t have the bike control to finish the job. That’s what separated him from the goat.

    • @gregewig1260

      Stewart was faster in supercross no doubt. Totally disagree in motocross. The unique thing about Ricky was he was able to ride on the edge where other riders would end up on the ground.

    I was there! Right at the bottom of the hill where everyone was getting stuck. One of the first years JS was on the big 450, he was holding on for life! Such a great memory watching everyone have trouble and Ricky just waltz passed making it look easy.

    Herlings almost did same at Lierop 2012 , lapped entire field but his teammate van hoorebeek who came second ..and that wasnt a mudder ...these kind of races are very rare , RC was a level above at that time and these races will always be remembered

    I am driving motorcycles since the day I turned 18 (now 35) from CB500 to CBR1000RR Fireblade. I have driven a 125cc motocrossbike 1 time, it was the most crazy bike experience I have ever had and I was exhausted after 5 minutes. People don't realise how much strength and power it takes to even drive those bikes let alone in mud as deep as this

    Ricky: 99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer. Take one down pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall.

    Great, GREAT stuff, from a wonderful era of racing. Now that Carmichael and Stewart are commentating Supercross together, I'd pay money to have the two of them commentate this race Mystery Science Theater style.

    He had to get good in the mud because if he had to put a leg down he was going to fall over and never getting back on. He's too short for that to even be possible! The interview lady towers over him! Love that little guy ;-)

    Pretty cool thinking he walked away from winning another outdoor season.

    • @lifeisgood3589
      @lifeisgood3589 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe he could have won 5 more outdoors titles. When RC retired he was still in his prime. In 07 SX his speed was getting closer to JS each race, faster and faster. RC had the skill and the will to find the speed needed to beat JS in supercross. But even the way it was RC would have won more SX titles because JS would have crashed even more having to push harder to stay ahead of RC. I just wish if he had to retire then go race MX1 in Europe for 3 years. RC is the only American that I know with out a doubt would have dominated MX1. Nascar was a long shot
