I love James. I grew up at the tail end of a McGraths career, saw the Goat and then the fastest man on the planet. There is absolutely no one that was as fun to watch as Bubba. Great memories.
I would have been scared to race James Stewart because we would have to do like me and Brian Young we scrubbed so hard whipped out every jump and had to use our boots to unlock our bikes in Milton Florida. I love watching James Stewart he is amazing and the only other person to scrub like him.❤️
^ this quad was insane to witness sitting in that section, was there as a young kid but think that night will always stick in my memory. Entire stadium had insane JS7 energy
Remember being a kid owning his toy bike literally loved watching him race made me fall in love with the sport even more I will forever say he is my favorite rider
Dont think there will ever be a rider quite like him, the excitement he evoked in me as a younger kid watching em fling that 125er is unmatched……the definition of send it!!!
Im so glad that i lived in the RC4 & JS7 days of racing. When they were on the track together it was the greatest show on earth! Hasn't been the same since.
Those 2 battling were mind boggling, dont think ive ever seen any more intense battles than what these 2 having…. I couldnt imagine being a lapper watching these nutballs fly by…….
I went to his first Supercross race in Anaheim, flew by everyone, ate it, fly by everyone, ate it, it was amazing to watch he was so insanely fast. I also watched him and Carmichael battle through the AMA Nationals in 2005, my favorite was at Broome Tioga everyone was jumping 100 feet down this little 6' lip and carmichael and stewart were going like 140 sideways into so many ruts landing wide open. Ill never forget the sound of his KX250. They were on a different level.
Narrating is horrible and you left out some of the very best moments. And of course there is another couple hundred from his amateur days that many of us watched from the fence and literally could not believe what we saw from him. Hell... on a KX60 at Dade City Raceway he was doing things the local A riders couldn't do on a 250 or 500. James was amazing to watch growing up.
It is artificial intelligence practice. Not a real channel by a MX person. See how much it screws up? Don't worry about artificial intelligence. It has to be based on a human brain function because there is no other intelligence, --and they will pick a moron for the model. IMO, if it is not human, it is not worth listening to.
I was truly saddened when he caught a suspension. James Stewart is incredible. The amount of determination and skill that he honed and displayed leaves me searching for words. I’ve watched hours of him shredding and talked about him so much my friends told me to “Get a Room”. They don’t understand the insane world of MX/SX. No doubt he has left an indelible mark in the History of the Sport.
What about one of the first times he ever did the bubba scrub on his 125 I think at budds creek. Foot peg, handlebars are dragging in the dirt I think cudby took the photo.
I will ALWAYS be a James Stewart fan ALWAYS, he's the best for a reason. And when the haters wanna say he ain't the best well OK they CANT argue he's a top 3 BEST OF ALL TIME which is just awesome. He's done so much for the sport and I am super happy to have witnessed it all and to be a super fan for life.
Bubba was truly something else.. when he could keep the bike under him. Ricky was #1 when it came to consistency, but when it came to speed bubba was wild
I had the privilege to witness that pass on Dungey in the whoops in San Diego 2012. He kept ripping over those long giant whoops all night till he crashed in the main.
I started following MX and SX heavy when I was 15 and my dad bought an old dirt bike project on a whim. It was my first experience with motorcycles. This was coincidentally right in the peak of the James Stewart, Travis Pastrana, Ricky Carmichael, Kevin Windham and Chad Reed era (circa 2001-2002). I was immediately drawn to James and Travis, so much so my next real bike was a KX125 and I put 299 as my number plate (a combo of James' 259 and Travis' 199. I really miss those days. Good times, to me the best era of MX/SX (what a boomer type thing to say lol)
dude this is nicely edited and actually really enjoyed watching but like the ai narration was tough to sit through lol ill narrate your next one for free! I mean no disrespect!
I remember this one race when right out of the starting, he fell. I was so shocked, but what came right seconds after shocked me more. He got up and kept going. And me as a christian, applied as LESSON FOR LIFE❤ BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER FORGET THIS RACE... GOD BLESS FLYING STUART WITH HIS PRESENCE WHERE EVER HE IS... ❤FROM PR
It's bullshit all because of something his DOCTOR PRECSRIBED SMH, total bullshit !! But really it was because the AMA was super jealous and they wanted other rider to win theirs ALOT OF BIAS towards Stewart and I think it's bullshit, but really it's JEALOUSY
@@chevyboy37 agreed. I stop watching supercross when he left. Just seemed boring. With Stewart he was either gunna win or crash. No in-between. He is the G.O.A.T for me.... but Hayden Deegan kid I've been watching for years and can't wait to see him go pro, hopefully it'll bring me back to supercross like Stewart did!
James never raced a 250 4-stroke. He smoked them on a 2-stroke, and he was on a 125. James and RC were the last on the starting line to switch to 4-strokes, (both 450's), and both were still winning when they switched 8 years after the first Yamaha 4-stroke won a race.
James LAST 125 Class Race (as named at that time) WAS on the KXF 250. He rode it as a one off race since he had Already clinched the title. Big PR move for Kawasaki/ Suzuki but had that bike failed from his riding at that race their joint venture would have been scarred 😳😬😱
I am an AA woman who was turned on to Motocross racing by my ex who used to race. This was during the height of Bubba's career and man this dude was definitely on another level. The risk he would take used to have me speechless. Like, did he just do that?? his speed and his jumps man I miss traveling around the world and watching him race but I don't miss my ex LOL. Vroom Vroom
I was at the Race in Daytona in 2011 when he crashed and went from last to 9th and he was so much faster than everyone on the track that day it didn't even look real. Not a person in the stands paid attention to a single other rider than Stewart the entire race.
7:01 come on my dude.. had me confused as hell, for a second i thought to myself, have i never heard or said that track name out loud?? that sounded weird as hell.. then i realized no i know exactly what track name is.. its Anaheim like the Anaheim Angels. Anna-heim not an-ham-han
You made one little mistake tho..when he sent it on that wall jump at Daytona 2014 he wasn’t able to get around Dean. Still. A LEGEND! Favorite rider of all time
Mike LaRocco helped build the Leap he was the first to get it on a 125. I jumped it in 1995 . It's so scary Hard. You have to have perfect body position the whole way up the jump and seat bounc and hold the throttle wide open 4th gear, and be mid Air before you even stomped to let off the gas.
Haters gonna hate... when you get down to brass tacks, bubba's probably the fastest rider to ever ride a motocross bike...nobody else was hitting "laracco's leap" on a 125, and that pretty much tells you how fast he was...
HOW BOUT THAT TIME HE PURPOSELY LET OFF THE GAS TO LET REED PASS HIM ALL SO JAMES COULD PASS REED FOR A 2ND TIME IN THE SAME RACE. He did that because everyone was talking so great about REED at that time and completely shut James out, THEY NEVER SHUT JAMES OUT EVER AGAIN
To be fair, a lot of these are when the other riders screwed up. Dungey messed up in the whoops. When he passed Reed and Canard, they were too busy fighting each other and loss their rhythm.

Started watching MX with Hurricane Hanna, O’Mara and Bailey. Through the McGrath era. James is my all time favourite! So impressive.
Old man that no longer watch MX but I always thought best racing was between Johnson, ward, Stanton and Ron lechine.
