Man, great review! What settings do you use for fullhd and 4k? Same or different? For me looks full hd on my a7c very washed, your samples are great! Thanks.
Same settings for both mostly using 4K but for 60fps I’m using 1080. For both I was using SLog2 I would check your creative styles and see if somethings out of wack. Or just stick to slog
I bought this camera for $1712 with the kit lens after selling my a6600, once I sell my kit lens I will be buying a 20mm 1.8 from sony, do you have any other recommendations?
I recently bought the tamron 17-28mm and it’s banging for Vlogging and landscape pics... and then this week my new beast of a lens turned up. The new Sony 50mm 1.2 which I’ve got specifically for portraits 🙌🏽 just depends on what you want it for!
I agree with most except the the evf which i think is good. Well placed on the left so noise dos not hit the body. The evf has good resolution and fast refresh rate oled. I use it in photos. For video i use the screen.
I agree with Luke EVF is not only not great but its so small and in bright sunlight one has terrible time trying to see anything especially as there is no eyecup - and respectfully suggest you are the only person I have read who says its good !!!!!!!!!
@@Kidsonss i have the a7c and i have no issue at all and I have bad sight from close distance. I have glasses to read but i don’t need them with the evf. Sorry but to me the evf is good. And if you want a eyecup you can install one which attach to the flash connector. Also if you don’t like the grip you can add the smallrig 3212 which give a great handle. But the evf is oled 120hz and it is very clear and precise. It has same resolution than a7iii. The evf is good.

Definitely! Yah that lens is a good all-arounder however I've found myself using primes way more now. It's good to have at least one solid zoom tho.
