Great bike but I wouldn't want to risk 6 penalty points and up to a £1000 fine plus having the bike confiscated because it is not type approved, not registered, not taxed and not insured. OK on private land but very illegal on public roads here in the UK. Its simply not an EAPC its a motorcycle/moped. People are being prosecuted and it's getting worse. Buyer be aware!

Well…. 30kms an hour. Which is bad without gear. It won’t do 30 mph. Even the website says 25 when unrestricted!! Good video though. Nice to see Rob excited without a Gin in tow 😮
It did 100% do 30 mph and in the manual it does state it exceeds 30mph when derestricted

Happy Holidays Rob & Lynn that is some machine not a bike @ all ! & please wear protective gear for your head & body on a machine like that as its got the power of a car Rob , & we wouldn't want to see you get hurt for any trial in this world ❤ because we all love you both to much 😊 I am just jealous because my mobility scooter doesn't proform as well as that bike Rob ! Plus I have had to reduce my battery size due to financial reasons plus I don't do more than 12 miles a week nevermind a day so my four wheel drive mobility scooter is a god send in the dry weather but a bloody pain if its raining hard because just doing my top speed the rain can cut your skin like paper , & Rob when you went through the town above the traffic lights there were cameras 📷 so please be careful that the police don't stop you next time your out & about on it as we really were all scared for your safety doing 34mph hunny OK? But it truly is an amazing scooter, I won't say bike because Rob you could never do that speed on a bike unless it was classed as a motorbike so get yourself insured & look after yourself & enjoy your new adventures again you jammy dodgers! So far so good. Haven’t really tested it to its full potential as we’ve had the grandson with us, but we will going out on them really soon so bear with us 😊😊

For who ever wants to buy this bike. I own one of these bikes and I love it. But that long and narrow handelbars are dengerous for handling. trust me, install a medium wide BMX handelbars and enjoy the handling. You will thank me later❤ 😅

Yes ok you have a point the law must change we are way behind most countries on the power of electric bikes why I don’t know why aren’t the government clamping down on electric cars that are more powerful off the start than petrol and and diesel vehicles which could kill a maim people if they lose control which I personally have seen happen

Hi R&L i would without question buy one of those if it guarantee it can do the speeds Rob was doing! I have an Electric bike a Raleigh Array but its only peddle assist up to 15mph But if i could get 30mph id be able to use it to go to work on which is 8 miles away, would be a great summer tool, ive done it on the 15mph bike for summer but this would just be so much better! does it have instruction how to make it go over 15mph?

It’s a great bike and as shown it does do over 30mph
If you decide to order one make sure you order it from the UK warehouse, as a lot of people are ordering them and trying to get it from the EU Warehouse, it’s then saying unable to deliver to that postcode

Nice pedal bike/motorcycle but 35mph/kph in a 8mph site limit with no helmet 🤔
In my own defence there wasn’t many people on the site at the time of the review
These should be legalised and everyone should start using it. They want you buying fuel they want you paying tax they want your money.

Omg ! Be careful you don’t kill yourself … or get caught by the police . For Uk roads it is classed as a moped or motorcycle . Needs helmet , tax , insurance etc if using throttle over certain speeds and if assisted over 15 mph . Just twigged you had unlocked it so you could go that fast on the non pedal assist . I use a rockrider with 500w battery , 70n of torque , which powers me up hills in boost mode. Haven’t unrestricted it.

I wanted to ask how many teeth does the derailleur have, and how many teeth does the smallest rear pinion have? Thank you.
Hi to be honest absolutely no idea you would need you need to go on there website the bike is in our lock up at the moment 👍
Almost no e-bike manufacturer lists the number of teeth on a multi-wheel. The owner has to calculate that himself. For example, I have the smallest pinion with 14 teeth, but 11 is also produced, which is more suitable for higher pedaling speeds. I have 52 teeth on the derailleur, but it is also made with 58 teeth for higher speed.@@RobandLynnontour
Hi Rob + Lynn I bought an ebike in 2020 250 watt no throttle its rubbish I am still out of puff when I come back off a ride and 15 mph is totally rubbish

Hi Steve, this bole honestly is awesome, it did 30mph no problem throttle only, we’ve tried a few as you know and this is without a doubt the best one so far

I guess the problem was most likely caused by the person choosing the wrong warehouse to shop in, we have both an EU warehouse and a UK warehouse, only the UK warehouse can ship within the UK.
Unfortunately, there are fewer models available in our UK warehouse at this moment, this might be part of the reason the person chose the wrong warehouse.

Hi Lorr, still the scooter, but if I hadn’t got the one Ive got and tried that bike I’d be sold, it’s the best bike I’ve ever ridden, speed, comfort and stability

152kg = 24 stone approximately. If Rob weighs 16½ stone that leaves 7½ stone. You overloaded it by 3 stone which means Lynn weighs about . . . . . .just right. 👍

I purchased the bike in February 2023. Since then, I have been facing problems with the same. First, the brake sensor was broken, then the tyre got punctured which the customer support helped me out to get out of this situation.
Now the frame is broken. When I tried to avail support for this, customer care expected me to get it welded and reimburse me the half amount. My weight is 130 kg and I, solely purchased this bike because of its 150kg load capacity, but again it failed to do so.
On their website, it is clearly mentioned that the frame covers 2 years of warranty, but when it is broken in just 6 months, the customer support is not ready to replace the same which is totally unacceptable. I am waiting to their final reply and will update the same in the reviews.

Its about time they changed the law regarding e-bikes in the UK. 15mph is fine I guess but why the 250 watt power limit? I'm a big guy (even bigger than Rob lol) and no 250 watt motor is going to get me up the smallest incline & my disability will prevent me from using pedal assist to any great effect.

The law doesn’t need to be changed really. You can have a bigger motor but just need to register it with the dvla. Then you can also travel faster than 15.5 mph legally. The bike that Rob is showing us would also be legal in this country if it was registered too.
Obviously though then it would need insurance and helmet etc just like a moped.

Haha a Chinese solution if ever I saw one! You have to have a license, tax and insurance for anything over 250W. If you have an accident you would be in huge trouble so be careful going on the public roads.

A the oral e bike in Uk is illegal you have to have pedal assist
It is pedal assist you can disconnect the throttle
