Getting rich off crypto is much tougher than it seems. I keep losing money while trading with these youtub videos, and finding a trustworthy professional trader to help out with these trades also appears to be nearly impossible. This is extremely annoying

#17 - living on take out/ restaurant food (including app delivery) instead of cooking/preparing food at home. Some people eat out for basically every meal every day. I once did a rough calculation for someone (in a failed attempt at helping her get her finances in order) and found that she was spending close to one third of her take home pay on eating out. Between all the Starbucks, fast food and restaurant /door dash deliveries every day it was totaling upwards of $10,000 per year.
At that point, she was not working for her employer, she was working for the prepared food industry.

You would need an exit plan to replace your income, every million will generate roughly 40 to 45000 a year , if your house is paid off and if you need to , rent out some rooms in your house to bridge until you don't need them .

Don't listen to people who tell you not to buy a house. Everyone needs shelter; permanent is better. And don't mortgage your shelter on depreciating objects (car or vacation) unless it helps you to build equity in your shelter or life (education). Example: a stove depreciates. A Wolf stove increases the market value of the home, even though it depreciates.

How I try to fight procrastination: when I think about something, I do it immediately without giving me the time to choose not to do it. It doesn’t work all the times but it helps a lot. Our amygdala fights every battle to keep us “safe”. But safe, today, means “lazy” or “acting like a victim of the society”

You might spend $2 a week with the work lottery pool thinking it is no big deal but somewhere in your head, you think you are going to be rich so you eat out instead of making your lunch and do leisure activities instead of looking for another job or other opportunities.

The Miracle of Compound Interest. The Rule of 72. If you are earning 10% interest, take 72 and divide by 10 , equals 7.2 years for your money to double. Or if you're earning 2% interest, 72 ÷ 2 = 36 years for your money to double. Last example, earning 15% interest. 72÷15 = 5 years for your money to double.

The ROI will be positive in effect off 2 years after graduating. Fortune favors the bold. Is one of the most idiotic things a person can say. The history of that statement proves it. The man who uttered it died a horrible death. Fortune does not favor the bold wisdom does and you have to survive to be wise not be an Icarus. Pliny the Elder used the phrase as he led a fleet to Pompeii to investigate the eruption of Vesuvius in A.D. 79.Aug. he was advised to turn back and uttered this statement and was therefore consumed and killed by the waves of gases and Ash that came from the eruption towards him. Those who did turn back survived and used that statement as a lesson and a warning to other people who were foolhardy and pompous in their estimation of danger.

You should buy the company stock market shares and not the products and services they sell. Shares are dividend earning assets while the stuff they sell are value depreciating crap.
