Just got my fb5000 today. They sold out quick again. Rep must have watched your review! The front sticker is gone and now they have these metallic rep emblems on the side of that front post. Also my pad was not wrinkly lol. I guess I lucked out. Great review by the way!
I bought the Rogue monster bench and Thompson fat pad and paid $420. For both. Next bench I but is the Rep 5000 bench. I love the wheels, handle and the price. I got none of those items with the Rogue bench.

Great review, I am sold on getting this bench. I emailed Rep Fitness and they only had the red one available. I guess blue and red cost more🤷 because it was $179. Do you know if it's just the black bench that is $149? I ordered the red one anyway, just curious.
But why are you trying to overhead press on a flat bench? lol, This is made for flat benching. If you want to shoulder press on a bench get the AB-3100 which is what I did. I bought both. I was considering the AB 5000 zero-gap but for flat benching, the front feet get in the way. Plus its cheaper to get the FB-5000 and AB-3100 compared to the AB-5000. If the AB-3100 didn't have the gap I would have just went with that as an all-around bench.
True, but I wanted to point out that it was unsteady on that end. I do plan on getting the AB-3100 also. Seems like a great combination to have in the home gym!

hey matt, if your over head pressing, flip that bench around so your feet are at the "T" and the single post is behind ya. No rocking that way!

Some people can only afford something like this. So may have to overhead press on one.
