When TH-cam suggested Muay Thai, I tapped my finger onto that thumbnail and watched it. I don't remember who the fighters were, except the moment I started watching it, it became my favorite martial art. I since discovered that there's a better martial art and that it comes from Israel. The name of it is Krav Maga. I don't know much about it because they're secretive of their martial art. Do they have videos of it? Yes, except, as I typed a moment ago, they're secretive about it. It seems quite complicated to me. So why is Muay Thai my favorite of them? They use every part of their bodies. The difference between it and other martial arts is that it doesn't have tournaments where they fight. Besides that, Krav Maga is a defensive martial art. In addition to that, they use their head to protect themselves. Why don't they have tournaments in it? As I typed a moment ago, it's a defensive martial art. They aren't going to be instigator of a fight. They only use the skills for defense purposes only. So why do people call it the best martial art? It's probably because it only involves defending yourself. You'll need to find the group of people who decided to name it the beat martial art. No, I don't know who those people are. You'll need to discover that by yourselves. Yes, Buacaw is my favorite, followed by Rodtang, and then Seanchai. I didn't watch many fights that he was in, only the first two. Why is Buacaw my favorite? I believe it was him who I saw first on TH-cam. That was a few years ago.

Buakaw is my hero when i was kid I'm getting bullied and then his match appear at my yt algorithm..after that I'm learning muay thai at home by homemade tools for a month and finally i beat the bully by kick at liver follow by uppercut.
It has been 10 year and i still following his journey

I can't decide on that... They are both incredible. Lets hope they make it a real fight in November when they meet for BKFC, altho that isnt a decider for who is the best MT fighter of course. They are both unmatched in their style, unmatched in charisma, work ethic, ... Both are just legends straight up. And what doesnt get enough attention is their amazing ability to dodge strikes and taunt their opponent luring them into their script. EPIC what these guys did for the sport. I cant watch a minute of UFC once i see them hugging on the ground, MT keeps the action going!

keep in mind that most of what you saw here was not exactly Muay Thai (some of it was though) as Buakaw earned most of his (especially international) fame in K1 Kickboxing which has a different ruleset form Muay Thai.
As for comparing him to Saenchai: Well, that's a really difficult comparison since they are different weight classes and also very different fighting styles.

@@GoddyGE Well Buakaw is a real Muay Thai fighter, too. His style of fighting is different from Saenchai though. And he moved from Muay Thai to K1 Kickboxing for a big part of his carreer. As for differences between the 2 sports, K1 doesn't allow elbows for example.
as for styles: Saenchai is more of a technical, tricky, counter-fighter while Buakaw is more of a forward pressure power fighter.

Muay Thai is the use of weapons based on the body.
I have more information about that sport of Muay Thai. It's my absolute favorite of them. My former favorite is a Korean martial art called Taekwando. As you were able to see, they use their fists elbows feet and knees. Of all those fighters, buakaw is my absolute favorite of them. The exception of this is that there are many other people who believe there are two better Muay Thai fighters who are better than him. I don't agree with them. Who are those other two people? I don't remember their names. This is all a matter of perspective. You know we all have an opinion about who's the best fighter. To me, Buacaw is the absolute best of them all. To many people, he's better at kickboxing than Muay Thai. As for those eleven rounds, the winner must win all of them or be ranked below the best of them. Buakaw is that person to me. You said why in a single one day tournament? To see how well these fighters are physically conditioned. Are there anymore reasons why they would have a one night tournament? There probably is, except I'm not able to concentrate as well as I could at this moment of time.

The real but sad reason why there were young kids who fight in Thailand until today is basically because of the gamblers who began to let them fight as kids are more honest when they fight. Also, many great fighters had been fighting in 2-3 stages per day simply because most of them came from very poor families. Muay Thai is the only way to escape from poverty for many people here in Thailand. But on the other side, because of these facts that's why there are lots of great warriors in Thailand as well..

yes that's kinda true.. but for most of the Thai fighters back then, they got like 150-200 USD for a fight and then maybe wait for 1-3 months to get another fight.. that's like another level of poverty compared to many other countries around the world. And many of them had to feed their family with those money they got as well. @@mbsnyderc

Buakaw is the tank while Saenchai is the tech god, there is really no saying who is the best, just as a comparison Saenchai has lost 13% of his fights and Buakaw has lost 10% of his fights but Saenchai has more fights so basicly they are both even % losses.
Muay thai fighter they tough training around 6-7 hrs per day, they also jogging 7-10 km everyday for their endurance, after yrs of training their muslces become strong

We all need to learn because it helps us grow into adults. Did you know that to become a genius, all you need to do is never stop learning. The more you assimilate, the closer you'll come to being one of them. Another fact is that the more a person assimilates knowledge, the more the mind is filled, which helps in vulcabulary. There's one more of them. We'll, perhaps more than one more. The more subjects you learn, the lesser amount of lies you'll know about.

The Japanese judges did not like Buakaw celebrating after he would win. Also he had some pretty cool entrances and the Japanese judges viewed him as too cocky and to them ,it meant he was being disrespectful to them. They took it personal. So, they viewed it as ,you disrespect me then we gonna disrespect you, so they gave the fight to Andy. All these fights in Japan the judges hated him. I think they were just mad he beat the hell out of their favorite fighters. Japanese judges and K-1 were very corrupt with Yakuza being a major problem, not just in Buakaws fights.

Buakaw doesn't want to fight his countrymen. He wants to bring Muay Thai to the world. They all know about him in that country. The announcer of one of the video companies said that he needed to win three or four consecutive matches, except he was robbed because of the judges from other countries, mostly Japan. He was the only Thai fighter to win multiple belts in the K-1 max championship. He should have won more. He'll soon ve fighting a boxer by the name of Manny Pacquiao from the Philippines. To me, he's one of the best of them. So, when did he train to be a Muay Thai fighter? Who's going to win in the first quarter of next year? Were I to be a betting person, I'll choose Buakaw to do this.

With this video it's not about being able to judge fights. Japanese promotions at the time were notoriously biased against Thai fighters, i don't know if they still are since i stopped watching them because of it. I can't even count the times i saw absolute bullshit decisions by Japanese judges when the match was between Thai and pretty much anyone else, mostly Japanese fighters, as long as the judges got to shit on Thai fighters they didn't care how skewed it was.
