Buakaw is a bad little man! For his size he has some serious power and his skill is insane. I love martial arts, I've been practicing for 34 years and I still can't get enough of it at 50 years old.
50 is not that old. Baukaw is 40ish and still fighting if the $$$$$is right. He is a littler man maybe you can show him you are a bigger man, considering your years of experience you won’t have any problem taking him down.

I can't take anyone down anymore, I was in a near fatal accident 2 and a half years ago and it left me disabled. I still need 3 more surgeries so maybe I can live without severe pain every day.
I started fighting at 25, got back in on my 50 bday and been going strong the past 10 years at the same hard core gym, UFC and Bellator fighters. Easily the 60 would take the 25 yr version. I won't stop because I'll stop stretching, sprints, and quit working on speed. Still just as fast and agile and better balance. Don't ever let the old man in. And don't ever say you're getting old. Just need to crank it up more and more. Your body will take anything you throw at it. And no juice until we get to 80. Stay young!!!
The first one was a "Narayan decapitation" kick, Bua Kao is like a fine wine, he gets better as he gets older including his defensive head movement, a total package. He hurt his own leg at times from low kicks. The elbow is probably the most difficult to defend since it can come from any angle. Great collection.
Buakaw was such a brutal fighter, so much brute force. His bare knuckle fight with Saenchai will be fun. Raw power agains technique even if they are really good friends.

This is why K1 changed the rules. If Muay Thai can use their knees and elbows to their fullest potential. It will make Buakaw a champion for a long time.

One mistake that fortunately didn’t cause Buakaw wrongful defeat was him fighting Chinese fighters in china. I don’t have any problem with such fights refereed by non-Chinese in other countries. Chinese are famous for steroids like the Russians but also have a reputation for bad refereeing unlike the willful bias of the Japanese which is equally horrible

It’s somehow mentioned in WBA archives which is actually considered reputable but crazy to see it. He was awarded a defeat, controversial one at that, in one of his title K-1 matches. However, all who saw know he was the champion
