Saenchai didn't invented the "Cart wheel kick" but he just try to presented the ancient moves of Muaythai, In the ancient Muaythai table this move called "Ma-Deed-Ka-Lok" which means "horse kicking the skull".
@onalonan Thai people call that position. "ม้าดีดกระโหลก Mah' deed ka loke" the meaning of this posture is The rebellious horse threw its legs into its head.

Muay Thai was meant to be a death to death combat. Because back in the day, and I'm talking when it all started, it was to defeat and destroy the opponent. It wasn't meant to be a sport like now as people back then were fighting in the war ( where there's no weapon involved only fists) so it was the matter of live or die situation. Now a days it's merely a sport so therefore, universal restrictions rules applied on how they're allow to utilise certain movements. There are many more lethal and deathly Muay Thai moves that are banned 🚫 by the modern standards. He is one who uses one of the techniques of the old school style but leaving out the "forbidden" deathly moves. One of my favourites he is, even when I'm a women I can't but admire his talent and stamina.😊

Thank you for the video my friend. Muay Thai has a lot of hard punches and elbows. It's quite brutal - but the reason Saenchai is so successful is he's excellent in avoiding damage. When you're impossible to hit, fighters can't get in to any rythem to attack without getting kicked, punched, knees, elbows or getting swept off your feet. Many MT fights have fighters exchanging elbows one after the other for rounds at a time - stopping fights with severe cuts and KOs Cheers!!

Check out Changpuek Kiatsongrit, who came to America to take on their undefeated champion, Rick Roufus. Rick destroyed Changpuek in the first half of the battle, even breaking his jaw....but that's why you don't do that to Thai fighters. The entire rest of the fight is Rick taking punishment until he can't take anymore. Changpuek hospitalized him.
