    Perfect for my home use.
All jokes aside looks like an amazing machine for a commercial use.

haha yea def not for home use. way too high of a price tag for that. For commercial use only. Unless you got it like that... then knock yourself out. 😂

Thank you. Any research papers behind the science explained here?

This is precisely what an aeropress concentrate does.. immersion, pressure, and a filter.

Can it be used to brew 12oz single cup at the ratio of 1:15 (basically only 24gram grind)?

Technically yes, but the agitator does not reach down far enough to stir the slurry for brews that size, so you'd need to manually agitate. Also, the flow meter is accurate to +/- 50ml, so it has the potential to make your coffee either too weak or too strong at volumes that small. This margin is virtually indistinguishable at batch brew volume.

An aeropress concentrate will do that, and it’s delicious.

Yes but GC easily makes the best batch brew I've ever had.

Most cafes on traditional brewers are dosing higher than they have to to reach the extraction percentage they need. You can get much higher extraction with the way this brews allowing you to dose down (saving coffee cost). Not to mention the savings you see if using the cold brew or iced latte usage they mention at the end of the video. All that to say, I'd suspect this would pay for itself in savings with those factors combined and get better tasting brews.

I can confirm that the investment is worth it. Our shop is making cold brew in 8 minutes and it tastes better than any other cold brew I've had. same with batch brews. This piece has been a game changer for us. I really hate it when I visit a coffee shop and their espresso drinks are awesome but the drip coffee sucks. We are now serving drip coffee but at a pour over level of quality. highly recommend.

not to mention the incredible level of consistency. Best drip coffee ive ever had.

If you want a good quality coffee and a drip coffee. I would simply go with a french press best of both worlds without without the crazy price. Which means, you have to sell less coffee to pay for a product. Stop working for free.

I really don't see what someone can do By hand and timing that this machine can do differently. I think it might be an unnecessary cost for any business. Only thing that wowed me about this machine is the price. $$$$😮

A lot of people have enjoyed it because of the presets and versatility. It's definitely not necessary, but it has some appeal to a group of people.

Can you guys share a good template recipe for 3800ml?? Trying to dial some in but havn't nailed it quite yet.

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  ปีที่แล้ว

Sure! If you want to stick to a 1:16 ratio then we like to use 225g of coffee which would put you right around your 3800ml.
We have our settings here in the office for that recipe set for:
Cycle 1: 138 seconds brew time, 1400ml volume, 90 seconds vacuum time
Cycle 2: 25 seconds brew time, 1400ml volume, 105 seconds vacuum time
Cycle 3: 25 seconds brew time, 1000ml volume, 110 seconds vacuum time.
Let us know how that works for you!
