    If you have horns and then give them two heads you should really get +2 strength on the blitz lol

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahaha, that would be excellent 😁

    With distributing preassance and foul apperance is you dont have to move works really well if your playing a slow team just stack the line one space apart and do the same behind the line but keep two guys to pick up the ball in the backfeild cause 10 guys or 9 guys with these skills works great for nurgle and choas

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh so true! Works so well on Nurgle!

    Possible top 5-
    Top 5 skill combinations. Whether just pairs or more is your choice.
    Probably without mutation because you pretty much just did that but maybe included to compare to other combos.
    I'm guessing blodge is going to be #1. But that's a pretty safe bet.

      Oh that's excellent 13ry M! We'll bump that up the schedule! 😁

    Ohhh one thing about tentacles too. Trying to remember, I think the tentacles owner rolls the dice for it. That means that, unlike a failed dodge roll, the opponent can't use their team reroll to try to escape.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great point! The roll got harder to work, but no rerolling when it does! 😁

    I would put iron hard skin on my renegade orc to babysit the rat ogre with animal savagery and claw.

      That's genius!! 😁 That's going into the Renegades Dream Team video, attributed to you!

      Isnt skill usage optional?

    I think ideally I'd have two claw on my team, my main killer blitzer and my strength 5 big guy. One to take out those high value pieces and another to hulk smash anyone in your zone of control

    Not sure if you thought about it and i believe it works is prehensile tail and diving tackle. Giveing an elf a 5+ dodge and a human 6+

    Playing sevens with my underworld team I ended up with horns on my gutter-runner I absolutely love it.

    shaddowing works well with prehensile tail because if they somehow dodge away you can shaddow to move back next to them to make them have to dodge away from prehensile tail again.

      Hahaha I love that 😁

      Isn’t there a skaven star player with prehensile tail, shadowing and stab? Wicked combo!

  • @marcomad1991

    If my player both have claws and mighty blow, can I use mighty blow when I roll a 7 on a 8+ armor player or I must apply claw?

  • @senyormort
    @senyormort 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Prehensile Tail works great with Diving Tackle and Shadowing. This guy usually gets punched more often than not, so having something like Side Step may help you to keeping sticked to their player marked

    • @BoneheadPodcast

      That’s a superb combo!! It’s a lot of skill ups though 🥺

    Was about to complain tentacles over tail but waited a few more minutes for the honorable mentions.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, they're so close! I had to give Tail the edge due to the turnover potential! But combined like Voltron they're mightyyy!

    Love mutation skills. I agree with your top 5. Long time fan of underworld and I have played around with lots of mutation combinations. One league underworld team I had a goblin named Wizey who was on the hitlist of the rest of the league with two heads, extra arms, big hand and blodge he went anywhere and did everything. A cagediving ball grabber.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ohhh what an absolute Star!!! 😁😁 Mutated Goblins have to be the most fun players out there!

    When trying to guess #1, I completely forgot Horns. I agree with the spot, but it's very easy to discount it on a Chaos team.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah hugely, Horns on a Chaos Ogre is great, but Blockers don't really need them unless you're in a blocker heavy league! 😁

    I think I would prefer claw over horns, but really they are probably 1a & 1b.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah, it definitely depends on your league too! I gave horns the Brexit margin because ST4 is *always* good, whereas Claws can be worthless against some teams! 😁

  • @duncanholman272
    @duncanholman272 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi Ben, can you get in touch?

  • @JorisVDC
    @JorisVDC 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Disclaimer, most mutation skills have specialized applications, so the preference is really different for each player on each team.
    That said I do believe that the top 1 skill needs to be the skill that will be taken the most often.
    I don't agree with horns over Claw, simply because horns only works on a Blitz.
    Of all mutation skills, Claw will still be the one that will be taken by the most players across all mutation teams. Why? It removes players and it generates more SPP.
    Prehensile Tail is a cute skill on paper, yet you need to couple it with, Tackle and Stand Firm for it to become really good. Tentacles became significantly worse this edition, yet it works just fine with just Stand Firm. Also the opponent no longer rolls for tentacles, so they can't Re-Roll it. But more importantly, it keeps players next to the Big Guy, so you will get more blocks on them, which generates more SPP!

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, Tail is an excellent 'free' skill, like on the Rogre!
      You're so right - the mutations are the excellent side dish for a player type!
      I had Claws and Horns really close 😁 they're always dangerous!
