    You're NOT supposed to rub it in circles as it can cause scarring when the needles are at moving around on your scalp. The point of the dermapen is it moves up and down on its own, you need to be "stamping" it.

      The needles move fast enough to wear moving it wouldn’t drag the needles through the skin. This is true for rollers though

    careful, even though the needles are protected you should always use some "alcohol isopropyl 70%" to clean it before using it, also some alcohol pads to clean ur scalp or skin area if possible before needeling

      Never used before, but just ordered. Are replacement cartridges necessary if sterilizing after every use? I understand the point for ware and tare, but would that be the only reason for replacements? Thanks.

    • @zyfella
      @zyfella 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kmcam2524 Microneedling cartridges are single use only!
      Firstly, if you use the same cartridge again, the needles will become dull. And dull needles can damage the skin and create even more texture (which you don’t want).
      Secondly, it’s very unhygienic. Keeping your microneedling tools and environment clean is key to having a safe microneedling session.
      By reusing the same cartridge, you're pushing any germs and nasties sitting on the cartridge into your skin and risking damage.
      they are also not that expensive to replace, so I wouldnt risk my skin and health personally.

    Thanks for sharing! Started following you a few years back as I have alopecia areata. I have also done a lot of research regarding and I came down to micro needling and minoxidil as my best options to regain hair grows in the balding areas. Lots of improvement specially this year since I have been more consistent and looking forward to 100% hair growth in the coming months.

    My current hair loss protocol-
    1. Topical Minoxidil mixed with RU58841 once a day.
    2. Cialis once a day (helps with circulation and forming new blood cells around hair follicles).
    Caught my hair loss when I was 26, 29 now and have better density/hairline than most dudes my age. Happy enough with it.
    Some dude's protocols-
    1. Minoxidil 2x daily.
    2. Finasteride 1x daily.
    3. Microneedling 1x weekly.
    4. Maintain $8k - $15k hair transplant.
    5. $5k scalp micropigmentation to make hair look thicker.
    Christ if I had to do all this just to keep my hair I'd gladly shave my head. If u gotta be OCD and bankrupt to keep your hair it's not worth it. Bad for ur mental health and it's not like ur gonna be young forever anyway.

    Crazy how different scalps can be in terms of thickness! I get that sort of redness with 0.75, and if I use 1.5 I'm definitely bleeding. Needless to say, I can't tolerate the pain of the 1.5 without numbing cream even if I believe my pain threshold is pretty high (0.75 is ok, though it still hurts a bit). Keep up the good work!

      A study show miconeedling at .6 to .8 works best with a mechanical micro needling, and 1.5 mm with a micro needling roller.

    • @alzero4621
      @alzero4621 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Kodiak727 interesting, and makes sense considering that with a manual roller only say 2/3 of the needle goes in, so under 1mm seems reasonable. I personally don't go beyond 1mm (with an automatic device) since it risks piercing the follicles, which start at that depth.

    • @theexperimentasd904
      @theexperimentasd904 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I think there is a problem . Make sure you are setting the pins correctly on the device so when the device is on you will barely see the actual needles coming in and out of the socket . Its only 1 mm but if its not seated correctly you will get like 2.5 mm when you set the device to 1 mm . Also make sure to apply minimal pressure and do a warmup session of 5 mins all over the targeted area with light pressure and this will get the blood flowing and reduce pain then you can work on specific areas with more time and more tension , if you still feel pain leave the area to another one only to return after few mins as this will decrease pain significantly.

    By the way don't use 5Ghz wifi it ages the skin and hair and can cause severe hairloss because of the higher frequency hitting the skin more. I am seeing a LOT of people age way too fast and young guys lose their hair within a year(some moved into our neighborhood and had a full head of hair and now has to shave it off with an almost bald head). Not many people know about this but I do know a lot are now feeling absolutely devastated because of these changes happening to them within a short timespan.
    Take care.
