Hooking up my generator in an ice storm! Over 600,000 without power in Michigan! Under 30 degrees!!!

This week's winter storm brought us nearly a half inch of ice accumulation after over 12 hours of freezing rain, sleet and snow. I had a feeling we would lose power at some point since we're surrounded by dozens of 100 foot trees so I filled up our extra propane tanks for our generator just in case. I knew it wasn't a matter of if, but a matter of when, and sure enough at 7pm we lost power along with thousands of our neighbors. This video is a vlog of me setting up and hooking up our Pulsar 9k watt generator to our house to ger our essential equipment working. You know, furnace, well lump, modem and router, TV, DisneyChannel, etc., just the bare essentials.
