I love how your kids are "really" taught what being part of Family Really means .As they are getting older it becomes so clear that you are teaching them how a family works together. Garret helping you prepare for a storm is just o one example of how well you guys work together. Ver touching that all the kids are involved to include and take care of baby Olivia.We are having a very mild Winter in NYC. Personally I am loving that. No snow accumulation at all. That means there was no need to shovel and salt and for me no need to rely on hiring people to take care of that.

In central Michigan we had Ice everywhere. We lost power. So many others were not as blessed we we were. 1st we were prepared for some time without power. 2nd we are on the mainline, therefore, our power was restored first. Still the Grandkids had to watch their cell phones with rechargeable lights and I had to use an 150w inverter for my heating pad and a bigger inverter set up for my CPAP . As with all bad times, you learn to do something better or different the next time. I'm planning to purchase a larger inverter and batteries for a small 200w heater I have.
I love the way you teach you son how to do the chores around the house so as he becomes a young man he knows how to do them. And he really wants to help, it’s not a chore or burden to him. Praise God. Kids in the lower 48 don’t know what they are missing. Good job Dad.

You would laugh, they cancelled school at 1inch of school, Portland got more,however we are closer to the coast. Was closer to 1 to 2 inches here

Today is 3-1-23 and we are in lower Michigan. Had an ice storm a week ago and lost power. We were the lucky ones who lost it Wednesday night at 8 p.m. and had it back on Friday morning about 11 a.m. Still have some people without it tonight, but should be very soon for them. Companies from a lot of other states come in and help get people back up and running. So thankful for these linemen who came to help. Lots of trees down and it's been a mess. Now they are predicting 6-8" of snow Friday!
Burt you are one amazing Dad and husband. You get it all done to make sure your family is taken care of. You may think it’s not a big deal, when in fact it is a rare thing to see these days. You and Jessica both work hard to take care of the fam. A warm hot meal to come home to is a blessing. Teamwork is so important in a family. Kids thrive in an environment where there is stability and it is very evident in your kids. I just wanted to let you know that we appreciate the example that your family sets. It is refreshing to see and that’s why I love your channel.❤

We are in PA, and its been warmer then normal and no snow at all yet. Our daffodils are blooming. Its been crazy warm this winter.

We are getting a lot of snow today blizzard warning stay home if you dont have to go out .
When I heard the squeals from Garrett, I thought he was driving 😂 He is such a little man 💪🏼 ❄️ Great job helping Dad get ready for the storm.
Jessica has family in Arizona so I'm sure you all have heard about all of the rain we've had this winter. Plus Northern Arizona has gotten slammed with snow. Flagstaff alone has received over 118 inches, the Grand Canyon has received 187 inches in the North Rim and 118 inches in the South Rim. However those figures don't include today's total since I haven't heard how much more they received.

Hi Happy Peoples!! Today in southwest Virginia the temp was 66 degrees, the trees are budding, and the flowers are blooming. Of course, next week we are due for more cold weather, so winter isn't thru with us yet. Minnesota resident here, and it takes a lot of snow to completely shut down activities in winter. Southwest Minnesota roads were closed two times this winter when the winds kept blowing preventing plowed roads to stay clear
A few years ago at Christmas time we were in Washington state and the man at the car rental desk wanted us to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We made the comment that we were from Minnesota and drive in snow all the time. He responded that in Minnesota we have the plows to clear the roads...yes, we do.

I live in North Carolina and the weather here has been warmer than usual '60s and '70s can't complain.
I live in Ontario Canada and this past month we have had three "bad stprms". The first was a lot of snow. I went out to my brother's funeral an hour away. .Roads were ok just bitterly cold. Second snow rain freezing rain. I didn't go out not even to work. To many people who have no idea how to drive. I stayed home and cleaned and cooked and relaxed. A luxury for me...
Third storm lasted about 3 hrs and we got almost a foot of snow. Was out and about the whole day no issues... It warmed up and was slush by morning..I got my driver's license over 40 yrs ago day after a huge storm so driving in this weather is not an issue for me...
I live in northern Minnesota. March is very unpredictable. We have hockey and basketball tournaments this month and notoriously have big snow storms that have hit during this time. Minnesota state high-school hockey tournament is very special, and dare I say "famous"!
Our storms look like tornadoes or ice. We had a major sleet storm a few weeks back & it was crazy. Then a few nights ago, a town about an hour away got hit by a tornado. We get thunder snow & ice storms too. In spring, we flood, lots of flash flooding & scorching hot summers. It’s never dull around here weather wise, that’s for sure. I’m in Oklahoma.
Northern ohio was over 60 today… it’s way toooooooearly for us. The trees are budding almost 2 months ahead…… we in ohio made record for the lest amount of snow in Feb. Stay safe Somers
Its been in the upper 70's to low 80's in Georgia. I have been wearing shorts for the past week or so. Strong to severe storms are forecast for Friday. The pollen is also insane for this early in the year, EVERYTHING is yellow.
Here in Maryland we have had around 70’s in February and some days of 30’s and 40’s with a dusting of snow but nothing too bad.
We have rain storms in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ran into cloudburst picking up kids from school on Monday. When I realised I have no umbrella or raincoat. Had to take my shoes off and was soaked to the skin. Water ran like rivers in street. But it was fun AFTER we made it home.

Here in northern Ohio it’s been a boring winter, tbh. Not much snow for us this year. We really enjoy the snow. 😊
Here in Atlanta Ga we have not had any snow which is very disappointing. We love the snow but hate the ice. What we currently getting some severe thunderstorms. We need to prepare for possible power outages. I wish we had a generator. GOD BLESS THE SOMERS FAMILY.

Rain, Hail, little bit of Snow, Wind, etc in the part of the California I’m in.
Southern California mountains are under a state of emergency for all the snow we got and we don't have enough plows. The whole mountain is shut down and people snowed in and unable to get out for days..and days more to dig out. We even lost our grocery store today when the whole roof collapsed. We're all stuck yet just 15 miles from sunny socal. The sun will be out tomorrow and the digging continues.
It makes me want to cry with sweet tears of joy with seeing you videos of your kids during teaching. Praise be to God. You family is such a blessing to us all that watch and that happen up on you channel.
80s here in Alabama today. Gotta get the mower going and knock down some green stuff tomorrow.
On Donner Summit, California, we just got literally 10 feet of snow in the past 4 days. Season to date 47 FEET. On track to be the biggest snow since 1952. Even though we are beyond grateful for the water, we could use a break, but it looks like more coming next week. Ugh.

I love in Jamestown NY SO RIGHT NEXT TO LAKE ERIE SO WE get lots of snow and usually it’s lake effect snow storms! However we have had an easy winter so far! Calling for snow this weekend! Just lots of ice this year!

We always do lots of preps for storms here in Wisconsin, we get lots of snow in the winter and tornadoes in the spring.
you know you are a true Alaskan when you eat ice cream outside in sub zero weather. always prep for snowfall at anytime during the winter, cause it can come at any moment so always be prepped
As we get older you forget how fast babies grow seems like yesterday Olivia was a newborn now look at her she's getting so big before you know it she'll be crawling then walking yikes. We're lucky we only got 3 inches yesterday and tot high of 52 supposedly bigger storm Friday. It's been a really weird winter here in the Adirondack Mountains. I know the feeling. We have gotten 8+ inches of snow so far today in Groom Creek, Arizona , south of Prescott…Flagstaff has gotten 120 so far ,ski area Snow Bowl has 300 so far…what a winter !
Our cross country coach calls kids like Garrett rubber bands. Nothing hurts them! Enjoy it while it lasts! 😂

Here in Toronto we had a fairly mild winter. Then February hit! Freezing rain, ice pellets, snow, rain....and storm warnings or watches at least once a week!

I love how you're teaching Garrett what to do. It's like another notch of responsibility.
Where I live in Australia we get cyclones so during summer we get cyclone warnings, flood warnings because we get a lot of rain, wind warnings, storm warnings which can mean lighting, hale etc. That's all I can think of but we get more.
Animal behaviour definitely changes too. When a big cyclone is coming all the birds disappear. It really shows the calm before the storm
Hi from west coast of Canada. We've had a foot of snow and it has lasted a week. Finally it's warmed and the rain has started today March 1* That is what we are used to. Now the daffodils can bloom.

I m from Jacksonville, FL, and went on a family ski trip to Colorado a couple of weeks ago and when I was leaving the grocery store, groceries in cart, I thought of your family, remembering how hard you say it is to roll the cart in the snow. I live on Florida. No snow but rain hurricane season. And fires. The wind and high temperatures humidity. Staying cool can be difficult at times. Water either too much or not enough. When hurricane Nicole came to Florida. It covered the whole state. The whole Coastline of Florida has changed. Some of the outer Islands down south are gone
You need to get a roof rake with extension handle to remove snow from roof before it gets so deep and heavy. One year we got just 6” - 12” of snow that ended up partially melting and then refreezing into ice and it nearly brought down our deck. I had to literally go out and chisel some of it off to lessen the weight. It is better to remove occasionally as it comes down, I think, rather than let get too deep and heavy, especially from roof. The southern part of the state of California has had a rare and unusually deep snow recently and too many homes have had roofs collapse leaving already isolated people with no shelter, sad situation for them 😢
In the 80s' here. I have only seen snow once in my 60 years, But we deal with hurricanes.
In Michigan we have had two rough weeks. We have mostly had mixed precipitation and lots of ice. Many people have lost power.
We have had massive storms and snow in Oregon , one after another , we got snowed in and had one day today to get out to Costco for some groceries the next storm is coming in tomorrow and will last for days ‼️ so we're prepared for now ‼️ 🌲🌲🌲🧚🕊️ The weather is really been all over the US very rough in one way or another 🎇🙏🏾🙏🏾

We are having springtime daytime temps here in NC near Charlotte. Lots of trees and flowers are blooming. Yards need to be mowed.
In Eastern AZ our weather has been all over the place… high winds, rain, sleet, snow, sunshine and then it starts all that all over again 3 days later
Been in the high 70’s low 80’s , but come tomorrow still 80 degrees, but storms start in the morning with straight line winds. Only 61 degrees Friday, I’ll be freezing! Lol !

Here in North Carolina, we are enjoying weather in th 70's, record highs for February. We had about 20 flakes of snow, highly unusual for our area, a snow free winter this year, but rain and cold returning.

Here in Grayson County, we have the Grayson Highland Maple Festival which is highlight in this weekend in March. Weather in our little town of Independence, Virginia has been a blessing. We were under a wind advisory over the weekend with gusts up to 60-70 mph. I got a little scared & called my Daughter to talk a little bit, then asked the Lord to please keep our power on. I'm on a concentrator. Temperatures this week through next Teusday, up into the 50-60s come afternoon, lows at night 35-38 two nights rest up in the 40s, rain Friday & Teusday, 70s tomorrow in some areas of New River Valley. Greetings from Monmouth County and the Jersey Shore. We have had only two dustings of snow which melted quickly because the temps have been mostly above average during the winter season.
Your videos always fill me with warmth and joy. Thank you for bringing so much light to my world. We have had ZERO snow all winter--first time this has happened since the late 1800s!! It is supposed to be 70 here today. It is so odd for us in the mountains of Virginia!
Our Minnesota winter has been pretty stormy & windy.. can’t wait till spring.. but we needed the snow for moisture in our farm fields
Hello happy people. Im in Oregon and we just got done with a lot of snow. Portland Oregon got hit with over 10inches of snow. So pretty but definitely not prepared enough for it. We were ok ok home for 2 days but no work for 2 days really affects the paychecks. Lesson learned for next time
We here near Philadelphia pa we’ve only had .25 yes 1/4 inch of snow all winter normally our average is 25 inches on the season but the last three winters our average will have to be adjusted down, it’s been a warm winter and growing season flowers and grass and weeds are cranking already since about 2 weeks ago
We are getting the pool ready for swimming here in Florida........I love the summers in Alaska (Fairbanks) but do not miss the winters!

In Northeast Wisconsin we got about 15 inches of snow last Wednesday-Thursday but it isnt super cold here, about 30's for highs. We usually dont have issues with our electricity. I just had surgery so i wasnt able to get out to do it myself. Lucky for me my neighbors and family have stepped in to deal with that stuff and get me to appointments and get groceries. It is around 68 to 75 degrees in Nashville, North Carolina. Love it, some of the flowers and bushes and trees are blooming. Great weather lately, can't complain. Wish you all the best and love the videos.

Utah got 1-3 feet last week and the mountains got a second 1-2 ft. Yes we are having a big snow year and it's badly needed.

Here in Oregon we have a few storms through the Fall and winter, but this year its been more. 9ins in 24 hrs. Starting to lighten up.
Today in Los Angeles suburbs it snowed for about 30 mins… my students have never seen snow in our neighborhood… we live 30 mins from the beach!!

When everyone got a lot of snow, in eastern Pa where o live anyway, we got a little flurries and rain instead. But got a little snow yesterday but almost melted all ready today. Very muddy right now.
In northern NH we get more snow than the southern part of the state. We get about as much snow a year as you do 3 feet. This year has been milder.....so far, lol. Winter is not over yet up here!
