Chatted a few time via comments about my Camaro tune issues Decided I’m bored on a Sunday imma watch his TH-cam. I haven’t even watched a whole video yet and I think you’re fucking awsome. Subscribed, and I’ll probably just have you just retune the other guys tune on the sole fact of how you present yourself 🤘🏻
I just found your channel. These are really fun to watch because I had a '95 in '97. In those days if you wanted a "tune," you got a Hypertech Power Programmer. I had one, lol.
What are you thoughts on the factory SLP cold air that comes on these cars? I noticed this one is missing but maybe the original one broke? Thanks for keeping the LT1 alive!
I been watching your videos bud and I’ll say great job man. Got a question for you. I’ve seen you do c4 corvette lt1 tunes and was wondering have you ever done a c4 corvette with an lt4 in it. And would love to here and upgrades I could do to get more power for the money without going nitrous. Thx in advance buddy.
do you do remote tuning? I've been looking at a cam for my LT1 car, I already have a tuning cable. My car is a bit out of the ordinary (95 fleetwood), looking at a 221/230 cam with 1.6 rockers, ported stock heads. I'm not opposed to tuning it myself but have been following for a while and I think your experience with the platform would be beneficial.
So the TH 24x kit and 411 swap is better for tuning? I have that stuff just haven't done it yet. Dropping an lt4 in my 96 m6 and wanted to go bigger on injectors and pump for e85. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
@strongspeedworks I am doing the thinnest gaskets, should be around 11:1 being an lt4. I would think the cooling benefits e85 provides should be worth something. I do understand that it will be more work to tune it.
Regarding the LT1 timing, you said stock they're 33 and you bump them up to 35 or so, is that in addition to the 5 that PE adds? So the stock 33 will be 38 at WOT and your 35 will be 40? I just want to make sure I actually understand...
There is nothing in that tune that will add 5 degrees of timing in PE mode. There’s an unknown spark adder that is set to 5 degrees. I set it to zero. It has nothing to do with PE mode. I’ve never seen an LT1 add 5 degrees of timing in PE mode.
@strongspeedworks OK so after watching all your videos I got brave enough to get EEHack, FlashHack, TunerPro, and a cable. I datalogged my car last night (94lt1) and it runs 38 degrees of advance at 100% throttle position from 3000 up. When I pulled the bin file and opened it in TunerPro, the spark table shows 33 degrees at WOT, but it does have the "unknown spark adder" set to 5. So that makes sense, 33 + 5 is 38. But my question is, when is the unknown spark adder active and when is it not? If I set it to zero and just add 5 to my spark table then I won't know which cells should get the 5 and which shouldn't. The reason I initially thought it was part of PE is from this discussion where one guy claims it is in conjunction with PE because the richer mixture is less detonation prone (post 6-14): ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-modifications/1947677-ignition-timing-advance.html Any light you could shed for me? I know this is simple stuff but for a newb it's like drinking from a fire hose.

Lots of good info here! Love the OBD1 Fbody stuff

Good stuff.
Thanks!

Watch my other videos regarding mods.
My 95 has a obd2 connection is that right

Yes I remote tune everyday.

Do the Harley video..

E85 isn’t worth it with stock compression.

This video just convinced me to OBD1 swap my 97. So I need a 93-95 OBD1 computer from a 6 speed to swap into my 97 6 speed correct?
16188051 is the pcm number you need. From ANY 94-95 LT1 vehicle.
You also need a 16 pin aldl cable and windows laptop.
@@strongspeedworks thanks!
Mic sounds good
Thanks!
Do you think ceramic coating on the headers would help with the heat ?

@strongspeedworks OK thanks, I read some bad info on a forum write up. Thanks for setting me straight!

6 speed hard top ftw
How do you get flash hack to run “settle down” when you get the bus is noisy pop up?
Keep trying.
Key off key on, unplug, plug in.
Whats your location. I need my 97 camaro tuned after heads cam intake swap.
Tulsa area. Regardless of location, I offer remote tuning services too.
It’ll need to be pcm swapped like this one.
@@strongspeedworks how would that work without data logging
@@bossmigolivares3550 you need an OBD 1 pcm, aldl cable, laptop, eehack and a wideband.
I don’t do that mail order garbage.
@strongspeedworks how can we get in contact outside of TH-cam
