with the cammed Lt1’s when you throw a tune on them and delete emmissions and clean everything up , do they get BETTER MPG if you baby it on the highway commuting?
I put in a new 383 LT1 with LE heads and 231/239 112lsa cam and deleted EGR/Air with a mail tune and my questionable math is showing 16ish mpg city and 19ish highway, but I wasn't trying to be economical. I only have a few fill-ups to base this on and new engine bugs.
Does it chirp 1st to 2nd gear!? That's pretty awesome 😎 CC503 isn't too bad very mild cam. Can't go wrong with the 373 gears and a 3k stall. Very cool. You nailed that tune perfectly!
@@wakehenry7892 I can't speak on Brandon's Tuning abilities. But I can speak about his extensive knowledge on the LT1 platform. He gave me fantastic advice with my firebird formula. With my experience of speaking with him he's a good guy. And I'm sorry your experience was different.
@@wakehenry7892 you’re not getting your money back. I sold you a digital file. I’m not being rude. I was diagnosing your vehicle so we can continue tuning. I told you to check the o2 fuses. How’s it compare to a CC306? Thinking of picking up a bone stock LT1 car for a really good price. It’s a 6 speed car. Looking at 380-400whp. Sticking with that power range so that way a reinforced 10 bolt and rebuilt T56 can handle that power no problem. Also so I can use a relatively street friendly clutch.
The 306 is way better. But I’d opt for a custom grind from Lloyd Elliot. I laid down 380whp with a cam only. 227/235 565/579 110lsa cam My red TA has a 230/238 585/585 108 lsa Both very streetable.
@@strongspeedworks gotcha most likely the route I’ll take. I’m only used to LS cars and even then my black 4th gen is an auto with a hog ass cam. With a stick I really do want something thats not finicky to drive but also a really good tune is a must, and I wanna be able to keep rpm below 6200. This Z28 I’m purchasing has 34,000 on the original block! So not planning on a bottom end rebuild anytime soon haha.
You’ll need a 12 pin aldl cable, windows based laptop and a wideband. It’s all done through email or if you need me to tune it live I can. My email is Strongspeedworks@hotmail.com Contact me through there. I can walk you through it.
What kind of tuning program are you using? I know NOTHING about efi tuning. I have a 95 C4 that needs more power. I was going to add a cam, maybe get heads ported, some gears, maybe a small stall. But it’s fun, not fast by no means. What cam would you put in an LT1 auto?
I just got a 93 z28 that has stuff done already plus i wanna do more work what is a good way to tune it tho? I cant find anyone with a solid answer on a tuner for the ob1 lt1 ecu
I find this strange because the 93-95 didn’t have a MAF they have a MAP sensor. Pretty sure they didn’t go to a MAF until 96. I do know my 93 has a MAP sensor and no MAF.
Excellent video.
Thanks!

It’s got drag radials on it. So it just grips 1-2 shift. No chirping. But it would with regular street tires for sure.

The cc305 is the largest cam you should go on a stock headed car. No? Include valve over lap.
You can run what you want on stock heads. But you’re referring to the cc306. Not the 305.
What 1/4 times you think it would go with those mods if you had to guess?
Mid to high 12

Only 93 was speed density, 94+ used MAF
I have a 94 and it has a MAF sensor.

How do you tune it . Use a software ? That I could Possibly use to play around with the settings?
Eehack. Flash hack. Tunerpro with the proper xdf file. Knowledge.

Idk if that’s the optispark or if the motor is running outa fuel
