Superb day out with the Coakham Bloodhounds! Finally we had a meet that wasn't cancelled (bloody rain!) so I took Moosie out for a spin and he was an absolute legend. Some really long lines in the middle that wore us both out!

For anyone worried about what we are hunting ~ the Coakham are a "clean boot" hunt, which means the hounds follow the natural scent of human runners who set off ahead of the pack - no other scent is used (whether animal or synthetic) and there is no killing involved - the runners just get licked at the end of each hunt.
