What an absolutely mad time we had on the final three days of the Miyak Trail in Macedonia! We had all kinds of weather but that didn't stop us having a fantastic time! So much racing and galloping on the incredible horse who amazed us everyday with their speed and sure-footedness. I was so thrilled to see a bear and her cub from our campsite on the 5th day! The final day saw us wake up at 3.30 am to ride up the mountain in the dark to watch the sunrise! And as an extra treat we even saw a wolf hunting some mountain goats on our way back down. It is apparently very rare to see a wolf, so we were super lucky! On our return to the ranch we were surprised with an absolutely bonkers traditional ceremony which was the perfect way to finish the trail.
I could not recommend this ride enough! The biggest thanks to Vasko, all the staff at Sherpa Horse Riding, and of course the horses themselves! What a hoot we had!

Did you ever fear for your life? How did the horses stay sound going like this for six days? I would like to see pictures of where you all stayed overnight as well. Did everyone ride the same horses each day?😮😮
