Now why do that ?
It’s the clean boot, not a fox. The dogs hunt a human runner. So no harm or cruelty to animals.
What a great idea! All the tradition of foxhunting without the gruesome end. If you folks are open to suggestions, might I suggest adding the element of competition between two or more human runners as to who can avoid getting caught the longest? Additional attractions can be bets among the spectators, (and maybe others), as to which runner wins. Being a runner might also appeal to the fitness/triathlon crowd, since keeping away from the dogs for so long would provide a stern physical test indeed...
ban the hunters as well as hunting
They’re not hunting a fox, they hunt a human runner. There is no harm to any animals.

now clearly expanding into town and city. I am seaside born, country-bred and now live in
central London where I have seen foxes trotting along a pavement of an evening.
