Great video Ian. A million thanks! I have to add. After this video was shot we’d recently seen the JWest “Rennshift” light. None of our builds will leave here without one moving forward. Simply amazing shift consoles. Absolutely shameless plug.
@pmb_performance: I see there is no heat/noise reduction mat installed in the engine compartment. Did you do any sound/heat damping on the other side of that firewall? Cool and interesting idea to have the 'inner side' of the body white and the outer another color!
Beautiful car. Glad to see teeners getting quality attention. But, I wonder about putting the oil thermostat in front like that. Most engine cooling takes place on the engine itself, so what harm would there be in not having a thermostat at all? Maybe more importantly, until the engine is hot, the engine is having to pump thick oil 10 feet up to the front only to find a closed thermostat, then having to push that oil 10 feet to the back again. Porsche put the thermostat near the engine on 911 for a reason.
What a car, really inspiring for my 914 😍 greetings from Stuttgart, Germany!
Thanks for watching and saying hi!

So Sweet....pure 914 excellence! Love the details.

Spectacular in person for sure.
Not for our Sports Purpose builds. The sound of Dan’s engine is music to our ears.
The seats are nice :-) where are they from / who offers them ?
Check in with eric at PMB Performance. He’ll have the info…

That's a custom gauge. I'd ask Eric @ PMB

So the egine was bases off an E model, yellow fan shroud
I'm sure Eric and PMB would be happy to provide all the details
Cool car, awful music.
Maybe one day youtube will make better royalty free tracks available ;)
It just doesn’t need music throughout. Or mix it waaaaay down. It’s hard to follow the dialog at times.
