Looks like a beautiful area! I love it when newer suburban areas are actually built with some real character and independent businesses. Southwest/South Texas is the Southwestern/Western South overlap zone!

Housing in SA is still affordable even prices go up here too . The northwest side is more pricey but if you're looking for a nice affordable area go check out the northeast side areas like Universal City , Converse , Live Oak , ..... . Not as new and beautiful as the area you're driving thru but still very appealing . We live on the northeast side . It's quite and peaceful and plenty of parks with lakes around and yes we do have some gently rolling hills too . The southern part of SA is just more flat . Job market is great, cost of living is affordable and this city has so much to offer . I moved here from Germany and I've been to many other places in the US including Florida and I can assure this place is amazing.

Don’t get fooled. One thing about San Antonio is that crime is even throughout the city. I lived down the street from where you’re driving and someone got shot in one of those luxury areas. People cars are constantly being broken into there.

Kinda like I have heard you stereotype about neighborhoods where mostly black people reside as the "Hood". Everything is not what you see and think. I grew up in a small town in Pinellas County, Florida in a 1,800 sqft heated 3/1/.5 bedroom home on quarter of an acre with hand plastered walls and ceilings. The house was built in 1958. That was pretty good size back then. It was my mom's inheritance part of 9 acres. My dad made six figures + since i was old enough to understand. I am now 62yrs old. The property sat in between two sides of a segregated black neighborhood of working class people. However the homes were probably 1,000 sqft. heated. Today and then you would have referred to that as the hood. A lot of households were middle class even by today's standards because they were plasters. brick layers, plumber's, health workers, teachers, HVAC contractors, roofer's, lawn care and believe it or not a couple of executives at local or regional construction companies. They couldn't just go live anywhere back then without incurring BS. Not that they would have wanted too. regardless of what you see these communities were a community and supported each other. Other groups of people should take the time to educate themselves about our culture and history. It's disrespectful and insulting the way you talk about blacks at times. We are a proud and educated people.

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS basically you talk a lot of shit when you’re driving around and you tend to drive around in circles and you’re not really showing anything the major highways don’t show anything about San Antonio you don’t ride around any suburbs or anything of this sort and you don’t know a damn thing about San Antonio I’ve been here more than 20 years you have no damn clue get it together and do your research before you get on the road and maybe drive somewhere where you’re showing something like maybe the Alamo would probably be good or tower of Americas or something like that or maybe go on the southside where the missions are, you have no clue though, you just run your mouth up here and you get offensive when someone corrects you. You’re music is not my business but it’s damn annoying and if you’re going to post stuff up here maybe you should get rid of it. San Antonio is one big circle 410 or 1604

I hope this doesn’t sound terrible but I’m from SoCal and the Hispanic/Latinos in SA are not like LA/SoCal. The Hispanics/Latinos in SA are educated, professional. They’re small business owners, executives, and NOT blue collar workers. Not that working class types are bad, it’s just a different vibe in SA. Some are European descent and have been in the US for generations.

I live in mid town SA , ( Monte Vista ), .area, that has historical mansion and parks around the area. San Antonio has beautiful new areas in the Burbs which were I grew up , but downtown neighborhood has incredible charm , beautiful trees, etc. Also diverse yes, but Argentino American, so many diff types of cultures, and.
