I wake up early, take the dogs for a walk, the wife makes us some French toast, then we sit down and watch an EZGZ build update. Great way to start a Saturday. Build is looking great. 👍
Wowzers, that came together quick! It sure is looking great, awesome work sir! You’re inspiring me to build a rail at some point but it’ll definitely be a long while before I can get to it.
Coming along great. Thanks for the sunshine, we've had record breaking rainy weather all February. Seeing your progress is a great motivator to get on with the bug. Cheers C
Wow, the dune buggy build is coming along fast. If it was me, I wouldn't spend to much time cleaning the welds up. I would be to excited to get the buggy running & driving around. The exhaust vw clamps look great. You did and are doing a awesome job.👍👍
I've only heard story's about them but unless you already have the parts I would stay away from them. They are strong and all but they raise the rear of the car when you apply power and it is made for the early weaker swing axle.
EZ I’m very happy for you. I had my doubts about this car. And it’s come together much better and faster than I expected. On another note I had a question, I’m looking for a side winder exhaust just like this but Offroad style where #1#3 cylinder primary tubes go above rocker box’s. Do you have any knowledge of this type?
G'day Mr EZGZ, WOW this is looking good. Have you come up with a name yet and what's it's gender. 🤔 So thankyou for sharing your progress I appreciate it. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
Do you think it would be okay to run stock rocker arm and stockhead for a 2180cc I mean the engine runs but it never been in a car Because there's a thing called geometry that I don't know how to do I don't want to blow the engine up going high r p m
You probably won't get high RPM with stock valve heads and stock valve springs. The stock rocker arms are tuff and can handle most anything. The geometry is all about pushrod length and that depends on how thick the spacers are to keep the compression down....
Hi that little breather box you have mounted on your old railbuggy, whats the point having this with 3 lines going to it, all releasing pressure and the box doesn't have ventilation?! Ive seen this setup before and just dont understand this? You need a extra hole with a little breather filter to it or a extra line going to your air cleaner so the engine is sucking away the fumes. Can you make a video on Breathers? By the way, people mounting this style of breather box or peaple adding a crank case breather filter to a regular generator stand the have the crank fumes just releasing in the engine comparment ( with a regular beelte or bus ) I had a client in last month with this setup and was complaining the heating air in the car smells like exhaust fumes and oil fumes.. I just made a hose to the air cleaer and all the smell went away. Its just logics, and i see many people making this mistake and happily breathing toxic fumes haha. Greetz
Oh my, my, my calm down and give your fingers a rest… The breather box lid does not fit tightly. There is space all around the top. There is also peace of foam rubber (sponge) that fits inside so dirt can’t get in but crankcase pressure can get out. Off-road buggy’s often are climbing steep hills or accelerating at higher RPM if you don’t give that ring blow by a place to go it will cause oil leaks and foul spark plugs. I don’t recommend it inside the engine compartment of a stock automobile. The factory ran it to the air breather to help emissions even though it made a mess and difficult to tune higher mileage engines. EZGZ OUT!!

Sounds great! French toast is a favorite here. Weather has been nice. I hope your getting some drive time on the toys.

I'd love to see what you would come up with. Thanks for your support
Hey, if cool stickers add 5 hp, then that cool stainless wing has to add at least 10 hp! Looking really good EZ!
Good call!
Thoroughly enjoyed hearing your enthusiasm again. You’re looking and sounding just like your old self again 😊👍
😊 thank you. Some day's are better than others, but that life. Right!

I very fortunate to have a lot of sunshine and a heated garage. Winter is long but at least there's no yard work.:-)

I've been at this stage before and I know if I don't do it now it will never get done. hehehe

I understand. 👍
EZGZ, I love the dish washer basket! Looks like, you've got a nearly complete sand buggy! Great job, my friend! John 3:16!
Thanks 👍
Well done EZGZ looks like a great job! Keep up the good work and enjoy yourself watching from Wales UK 🏴
Thanks, will do!
Would like to hear a video about off-road suspension and small nut reduction boxes how they hold up
I've only heard story's about them but unless you already have the parts I would stay away from them. They are strong and all but they raise the rear of the car when you apply power and it is made for the early weaker swing axle.
OK cool thank you
Wow, that was fast looks great!!!
Thanks!
You’ve done such a good job on this thing!!! It looks like a factory kit!! You could do a class on setting those things up 😊!!!
Maybe one day! Thanks for checking in.
The buggy is looking great and the little spoiler looks good as well as handy. keep up the great work GZ
Thanks! Will do.
Awesome Greg!! Is perfect! Congratulations!!!!
Thank You Sir!
The build is looking good. Two words. "cup holders"
hmmmmm They make some for motorcycles that pivot in any direction. ... hmmmmm
Looking good brother I’m actually working on mine today as well
Getter Done...... Thumbs up
Looks good.
Thanks. I'm having fun and using up parts. That was the plan
Maybe put a v6 or something with some power in that heavy duty machine in the trailer.
Yes a V8 or aluminum V6 would probably work great....
super cool, looks like something to run some old power line 2 tracks...in michigan with all of us sometime!!!!
That would be great and might be more possible than you think..... my brother lives up there near saint. Helen
This is sick! 🎉

I was thinking the same thing. Going to have to take that off for the trail plus it’s too noisy…
Nice looking good

I have a few idea's but I will try and throw that question out there to see what folks can come up with...

It’s only temporary unless it works.
LOL sometimes very true!
