In the oilfield in dry sandy conditions I have used a dry side lubricant that does not attract dust or dirt. This sprays on wet and dries hard. I have used this method for years. Good memories with your buggy.
EZ sure fired thing…. When it comes to keeping the girlfriend happy for sure lol. Wish you were my neighbor next door. I have a little bug I’m working on. Love it.
Hi Greg, another great video. A quick question I am sure you can answer. Are the internals of a swing axle gearbox the same as an IRS? Struggling to find information on this. Thanks Graham
The stock swing axle tranny had key'd 4 the gears and a nut on the end of the shaft. When the IRS transmissions showed up around 1969 they changed over to splined fourth gear and used a snap ring on the end of both shafts. Many drag racers preferred the keyed swing axle transmission's for strength, lite weight and of course the beefy differential. 4:12 RP was the strongest which started in the 1966 model sedan
G'day Mr EZGZ, Looking good man. Q. How is the steering shaft angle. You don't find the steering wheel too close to your legs. So thanks for sharing the update, man. I appreciate it. And congratulations on the road test. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
Oh ----- You are getting ever so close now ------ Looking Good ------- Noticed ------ is the clutch pedal a little high ------ Looks like you were pushing on the lower half ---- and the upper portion was above your foot ------- You are ----RIGHT ---- Take some time out ------ Setting a Date ------ as they say ----- and go do something Special that she would like to do ------ Thanks for the update ---- Have a Great Easter ----- Rodney
There's always things to change as you use the car. I don't want to get bogged down with a lot of little details. To keep my motivation up I just keep moving forward. I was thinking of shortening the pedal arms but not until I get the permanent floor in.
It really depends on the condition of the case. If there are old and stored outside, single relief, dual relief, 8mm or 10mm head bolts maybe inserts.. blah blah blah. I wouldn't waste my time unless the engine is complete
Super job shortening the shift tube and properly locating the shifter GZ
Thanks... It's working great so far....
Nicely done sir!
Thank you kindly!

I wonder if aerosol silicone spray would work?

Everything is a compromise. I'm ok with it for now.

You need to get a body mount for your camera so that you can free up your hands.
Good Idea!
Your next buggy I hope will be a mid engine? With a LS v6?
Have you ever watched this channel before?
maybe in my next life. hehehehe
I would like one for the street maybe some day?@@TheEZGZ
When you weld galvanized it makes chlorine gas I always drink milk after makes me feel better ❤
I ran my clutch and throttle cables threw 3/8 steel brake lines
Great job, next time don’t mess with your breathing. Take care.
