In this video I show you how to play Ed's "I Wanna Be Your Lover" solo from the 1977 Warner Bros. Demo.
I updated this video to change the fingering of a phrase and to take a look at how Ed altered and adapted the phrase to be used in "Beautiful Girls."

I was having trouble catching the rhythm of the lick until I slowed it down and noticed that he hangs a little on one of the notes.

My plan was to stick with the pre-VH 1 stuff. I've never messed around with the Eventide pitch-shifted Eddie era. I did see that there's a plugin for $100 though,, so never say never.
