Great question! If you're going into the forest/ mountains- May through Sept. Desert hiking would be Feb through May.

We just got back from doing the hike…fortunately for us it was 70 rising to 81 degrees. Stunning hike and can’t wait to go back for a climbing weekend…the drive in was a bit rough, but well worth it.
