    What a major pain just to change the air filter! Thanks for the video.

      Yes bit of pain, especially if you have a tank full of fuel !!!. Many adventure motorcycle have their air filter located way high, often under the tank.

    You made my day with this video!!! I tried my best to find out how to find the 2 extra power outlets under the left cover and I was shortly about to drive crazy! Now I know, how to find them. Thanks a lot from Cologne, Germany

    What year model is that? Under side looks like it has some serious rust damage , maybe spray some antirust oil belowtank , i assume u live very close to sea?

    • @PranavBhayani
      @PranavBhayani  ปีที่แล้ว

      2017 India model. Yes , Mumbai is surrounded by sea so things rust fast, bad. Later I had cleaned and applied paint on all key areas. 👍

      Hi Dhawal. I got this filter from BikeNBiker online store www.bikenbiker.com/products/kawasaki-versys-650-spares-air-filter-by-hi-flo . This same is also available at CrossRoads, MotoUsher stores. Costed me INR 2000.

    Hoe many kms before air filter change?

    • @PranavBhayani
      @PranavBhayani  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't remember now exactly, but around 12000 KM I changed the air filter. Maybe in the video itself I would have explained this bit. 👍

    Do i have to remove fuel from the tank?

    • @PranavBhayani
      @PranavBhayani  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      its highly recommended to have less fuel in the tank, so that it'll be easy to lift the tank. a full tank it really a pain during this task :-)

    Pro Tip #1 ;
    Use Kawasaki Brand Air Filters, ONLY !
    (Not Hi-Flo), and long live Kawasaki.

    • @PranavBhayani
      @PranavBhayani  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kawa doesn't manufacture Air Filters (and other such things), so people are free to evaluate other options. In our region I found Hi-Flo at par quality however at lesser cost. Some even put specialy air filters like K&N / DNA / BMC. To each its own. Thanks for watching. 👍

      @@PranavBhayani So, sorry to inform you of this, but,...I just replaced the Air Filter on my Versys 650 with a Kawasaki OEM AirFilter that I ordered from the dealership. They cost about $46 + tax, and you can order them Online, too. Fact; They protect your engine from corrosive debris, much better than (cheap) HiFlo Air Filters.

      @@PranavBhayani Who makes Kawasaki OEM Air Filters ?

    • @intergalacticbasketballdro7186
      @intergalacticbasketballdro7186 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought my motorcycle, used. It came with a HiFlo Air filter installed. When I replaced it, I found grains of sand that it blocked, but on the other side, I also found just as much sand and also lots of small pieces of the filter, too. That means that the same type of material was being sucked into my engine.
      (NOT GOOD) !

    • @PranavBhayani
      @PranavBhayani  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have see people trying to wash a filter and refit - looks clean - BUT that damages the filter media , allowing debris to pass through. Just a thought. I didn't find any difference between a new filter from both these sources (Kawa workshop and HiFlo aftermarket).

    The air filter isn’t inside the tank, it’s underneath it!!!

      Yes exactly. Maybe somewhere in video I may have did "slip of tongue" 😀👍✨

      Coastal weather in Mumbai makes difficult to maintain vehicles, especially rust catches early. Anyways I sold this one. 👍
