- In this video I am showing you how to remove the gas tank on a Kawasaki Versys 650 ABS 2015 in order to access the air filter box. Then I show you how to remove the air filter and finally access the coils and spark plugs.
This video is educational only. You perform the described operations at your own risk.
If you don't feel confident enough please go to Kawasaki maintenance for replacing the air filter and spark plugs.
I hope this can be helpful.
In a previous video I showed you how to put the Versys 650 on a swing stand. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Thanks for the tutorial Philippe! This will come in handy 🙏🏼
Excellent detailed demomstration 👍🏻
super helpful, thank you for this video!
Merci. Très intéressant comme tuto, très bien expliqué. Je vais pouvoir me lancer 👍
Nice video! Thanks.
Thanks for the video.
Great video. What size socket did you use to get the spark plugs out?
Legend!
nice! so do you have to actually unscrew top cover from airbox? cannot be lifted whole box by just loosing these 2 clamps under?
Is it the same for the Versys X 300?
Does the tank need to be completely removed? Thing I enjoy about my 2016 zx6r is that you can just prop the tank up still connected to the bike and then change the spark plugs and air filter
Yes tank must be removed. Better be empty 😉
What are those tank grips?
Hello Sharma, what do you mean by tank grips ?
How many kilometers till air filter change?
Every 18k km according to the versys manual.
bye kawasaki !!!!!!!
