COMRADES MARATHON 2024 - UPRUN - a supporter's Sub-halala experience

- I did the Comrades Marathon 2024, and tried to keep up with the Sub-halala bus, on the sidelines. In this video, I tell all about the highs and lows of it.

That sub finish bus is a true gem! Everyone who watched this video will notice how tiny the group was at the start, and how huge it was with less than a parkrun to go. They pick up runners from other batches as well. Unfortunately some pacers go too fast and drop their members along the way, leaving randoms to pickup the pacing duties (I've witnessed this at Comrades). Shahieda does a brilliant pacing job! 11h56 with a few minutes to spare is top notch!

Watching this video had me caught up in all sorts of emotiions after all this is the people's favourite channel!!! @Farai, I know you gave it your all to support us all on the day. We started this running journey together in 2014 and now we celebrate the #100before40 movement and 10years of marathon running. Thank you for always being in my corner. I am certain the return will not be 3years from now. Next year we do it again. Until then...handifambe ndega (I don't walk alone) "fox", "forks" or "folks"! That is the long and the short of it.
