If you’re dealing with Oakland in 2024, go for a hitter. A’s are much better than they pretend to be. Mason Miller has been groomed to be enticing in this role. But he hasn’t been that reliable overall. They are just careful about his appearances. Don’t take the bait O’s
Isnt Miller still a rookie? the book is not out on cracking him yet. I would be happy with any of those other guys but what are talking about, a closer platoon with Kimbrel? We need a replacment for Danny C.
I'd be all in for Miller if I were O's. Miller wants to be a starter eventually so O's could use him as the closer that they need for this season. Next season when Felix Bautista comes back from TJ, Miller can be a starter for them. O's won't have Kyle Bradish probably all of next season so it's worth a shot. I'd not trade Holliday, Mayo or Basallo but everyone else should be on the table.
Are any of these guys even available? Mets are 1.5 games out of the Wildcard; not selling. Reds are 4.5 games out so unless they crate in the next few weeks they probably aren’t selling. Rays 3.5 out, and even if they are selling it’s doubtful they’ll trade within the division. Not even sure if Miller is available. So what are we even talking about here?
Per your take I still take Miller over the others. They have the prospects to deal for several players this deadline if they chose to- not to mention there are a few vets I’d be ok seeing them move if that’s what it takes (Mullins, Urías & Hays)… the prospect pipeline is backed up atm so I honestly feel they to make a decision: it’s 💩or get off the pot time for several of these rookies. They deserve to play in the mlb even if it’s not in baltimore
Aside from a lock down CL I think they also really need another decent SP with Bradish going down to injury and another RP for the pen to help save some arms
@@PigTownSports teams that have Swiss cheese needs (holes everywhere) could be enticed to deal for a vet and a prospect though… vis-a-vis a Hays/Mullins + a prospect x two… then you get both needs filled
I guess you don't see where someone said they would be okay to move some vet's?? I was replying to a comment not the video! And they said rookies deserve to play? Understand?
No.

Yes! I'd offer Basallo for Miller if I could ?

I’d like another high leverage guy either as a set up / closer or just 7-8 guy . To give cano and Craig a rest but still be highly effective

they are all bad teams. and wont be near the WC in 3 weeks. any one is available for the right price too
First of all, Mullins isn't going anywhere and not one of those prospects "deserve" to play? Really? Orioles fan???
I’m not sure anything you wrote has anything to do with this video ?
Wouldn't be so sure with Mullins, Mateo, Mountcastle, Hays, and Santander.

I’d love miller , but to fill the SP hole , going to need the prospects you send for Miller to outbid others for a starter .

My bad . It came on the video not under the comments . Threw me way off . Tracking now
I would trade Jackson for Miller if Oakland would throw in some other players and picks.
