    Gunnar Henderson might just be the best player in baseball right now. He's a threat to knock it out of the park every time he's at bat. Even if he doesn't he's a threat to Rob you of all your bases when he's on, or score from first base if a ball makes it to the wall. He'll pluck line drives out of the air by jumping 4 feet off the ground. He'll run from the infield all the way to the plate or the side/back walls to catch a pop up. He does literally everything, and he does it well. It's so refreshing to see a player on this team that genuinely wants to make every single play in the game. Adley's the young leader, and he deserves to be. But gunnar's the star

    It's hard to overstate how important JJ Hardy and Adley are to the Orioles. Hardy was the steady veteran presence that allowed Machado and Schoop to flourish, and Adley is Adley. It's not a coicidence that the O's won with these two on their respective rosters and lost without them.

    • @MadKingLordeus
      @MadKingLordeus 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not JJ Hardy, although he was good. It was Weiters who had us winning. He managed an awful pitching staff and kept them competing, much like Rutschman has and will as long as he is here.

      Dean Kremer has not had TJ surgery.. had a setback, yes but he’s hopefully back soon. It’s Means who just had the second surgery and Tyler Wells who is due to have surgery at any time. He could have been a valuable swing man this year. The Orioles pitching and development staff did a remarkable job finding Albert Suarez, who made his first major league appearance in 7 years and has turned into a valuable spot starter/. 0:06 0:06 reliever. Jordan Westburg is another infield prospect who is shining in the big league spotlight right now.

      The Orioles aren't handicapped financially. They can spend with anybody if they want to, and the Angelos regime is finally gone. People forget the Orioles had the highest payroll in all of baseball early in the Angelos era before the insured Belle contract he didn't have to pay off turned him off until Chris Davis, who put the final nail in that coffin.

      @MadKingLordeus 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      2016 wasn't a tank year. Not even 2017 or 2018...They definitely had playoff aspirations and lost 115 games that year. The short run of success ended when they let Weiters go and their suspect pitching staff was decimated by mediocre game callers behind the plate. Letting Matt go to the Nats cost us at least 25 wins. If you were to say they tanked, they did so from 2019-21. The rebuild was remarkably short considering it was a complete overhaul from the bottom to the top.

    As much as the fans complain about the bullpen, including myself, it's still the fourth best in the majors. We just have so many guys that are hot or cold and it's clear how much we relied on Bautista last year. We've also been hurt a lot more with the injury bug this year, especially among the starters. Our offense has a lot of firepower, but when it goes cold, it goes really cold.

    Hopefully he'll learn how to recognize and draft players that can actually hit the damn ball.
    Yes we're in first in our division, until the Rangers get Scherzer and Degrom back and the Astros can stop injuring themselves.
    We had a couple hitters last year on the team that had power and could drive in runs, Suarez and Teoscar Hernandez, Diboto cant have guys that drive in runs striking out too much, get rid of them, replace with nobody and are now #1 in MLB In striking out and only three teams, the last place WhiteSox and Marlins, and the Cardinals have scored fewer runs than the M's.

Baseball America recently updated their Top 100 list, and they had 7 Mariners in there, which is tied for the most among every team in the MLB, and 6 of those guys are offensive players. That list doesn't even include Felnin Celesten who will definitely be there by the end of the season as well. So what do you mean "there isn't any help on the way from the farm"?
