Headcam performed by Sean Parra of THE WALL. Sean began his career in the drumming activity back in 2015 with the Rose Parade Drumline and Impulse Drum & Bugle Corps. He then joined the Elan Percussion in 2016 for the WGI season and the following year, he was a member of Dark Sky Percussion in addition to the RCC marching band during the fall. The following 3 years, Sean has became a member of both the RCC snareline and the Blue Devils snareline for the 2018, 2019, and 2020 seasons. He has a world championship in both DCI AND WGI. This season, Sean is the center snare for RCC as they begin their competitive winter season.

Hell of a ride
Championship runs no matter how perfect the scoring performance is, is always the best version of the show. The energy must be so high and the fear of mistakes probably non existent.
No matter what corps they are, it’s always exciting to watch championship runs
Love the energy of these encore runs, hope to one day do one myself.

This took me back to my Encore run in 2007. I remembered being extra present in that moment. While playing I'm also thinking how this is the last time I will ever see this particular motion happened right in front of me ever again in life. So I was watching the show while performing it. I truly miss seeing my view of that show. It's funny how sean was saying how tired he was because when I was going to the top of the show for our Encore performance , I went from excited for winning to dreading that opener because , it was a lot. I was very tired but I love that and would love to experience that again. Side note, my eyes was dizzy watching this. LOL

@@kirsten8456 well, there's less control and the stick's fulcrum is not that far back so it feels unbalanced and it can be weird to hold there

No, I do it too now since I started using DC17’s. Before, I used light drumsticks which I held a little further up and trying to play like Sean Para and it was weird😀

Ghostlight is the only show out of those 3 that scored a 10.0 in Perc. Achv.
Oridux metamorph was still the best, musically. the battery in that sounded good but i like metamorph better

My dude Felliniesque was the closest to a near perfect show, no other core in DCI history has scored a 99.65 and the visuals, perc, and music was the best. Metamorph was good but it was still dirty. Go listen to felliniesque and see what we are saying
Has anyone else wondered why he holds his left stick so far down in his victory lap? In everytime I have ever seen him play (including his yt) he never held it that low (as you should)
