apologies for my absence in battery! things will be updated soon. especially the quad break in the opener. i don’t work tuesday or wednesday so i will be posting my three-month-late updates this week.
Michael Dy Aw man! I knew the bit right before with the voice synth was circus but the writers really outdid themselves with part after! (Especially the drum set shredding right there before the end of that movement 😎) Such a nice piece!
Hunter Russell I also gotta shout out Mr. Shawn Glyde, he did all the drum set writing and I was able to work with him and change minor things as the season went on to get the final product aka what you hear in my headcam :)
4:13 the ending of the bass feature is partially missing. I’m pretty sure it’s 4 6lets down basses 1-4 then a half note triplet 5-U-U into a unison quarter note
The sound of the marimbas and front ensemble sound different in MuseScore (Sound computerized) , in this video they sound real. How did you make it do that? Would really appritate your feedback. Quick note, I installed Musescore 3 with the drumline Update.
@@davidwang_music Sorry for the continued questions, but I've tried to integrate VDL with musecore and can't get it to work, any good tutorials for a windows 10 process? Because I could really use some help.
@@justtraininsanity8463 I did not connect VDL to Musescore at all for the making of the video. I exported front ensemble parts as XML files and imported it to Finale, where VDL is connected, and export WAV. Then I mix it with Musescore audio for other instruments

Man, your transcription of my drum set part is damn near perfect!!!
Haha thanks!
Oh man that’s good to see. Drum set part is why I’m here 😎
4:44 nice nod to metamorph
steverman the whole second movement had little nods towards the other shows which I thought was awesome .

That's alright. Let me know when you update your battery.
I must say the marimba parts are spot on, very nice work. Plus I’ve been trying to find the marimba part for this show for a while so thanks ;)
I actually came across this coincidentally on musescore a few months ago. Nice to see that there's a video of it up on youtube now!
at 4:44 the trombones play a part from metamorph, if you listen closely
Keegi V3 the whole second movement was a nod towards other shows
THIS IS WHY I WANT TO DO THIS!!! This music is beautiful!!!
This channel is a blessing
Does anyone know which ones the part for contra
The one before violin
5th one down
5:30, name a better part of the show
10:37, the final push.

Wow bass feature I really heard the words
Could I ask you to post just the brass part to make it easier to read? There is one up, but yours is a lot more musically accurate
The brass part is clearly shown in the original score, go to my link in the description
@@davidwang_music my bad, thank you!
@@jamsace1001 You're welcome
Why can I hear the duts lol (If anyone wants to know, listen closely at 1:50 before the snares come in)
Musescore Drumline soundfont has dut sounds
NecroDavid that’s so sick haha
BernieGzz ya boy put those in :]
Will Heeres ;)
Oh i love this
The beginning piano part is that from somewhere like a movie or a old song ? If so can someone tell me
A lot of people asked me about this, but I don't really know. Or, if you are talking about _Rhythm Song_ , if that's what you are looking for
Its the Sherlock Holmes ost Discombobulate, but just pitched slightly higher
Does anyone where the part starting at around 5:35 is from?
Hunter Russell "Circus" - Britney Spears

@@MichaelDy Shawn is awesome, I got to stay at his house for a system blue camp early season 2019, your performance was incredible !
0:51 the violin sounds so GOOD
The Part at 1:46 is actually a 3:2 part. high brass is playing triplets while low brass plays eighths.
nvm that was the old part not finals heheh
You did pretty well with the guitar part!
Thank you
I respect you!from Japan
Paul Smadbeck”s rhythm song had to be inspiration for the opener.
Can you please transcribe blue devils 2014 felliniesque

Very good!
Bro you gotta make a transcription for vox eversio!
You are the fkn best 🤩
why in my musescore application, battery sounds don't work. can anyone help me?
6:21
How did you make the marimbas to sound like that. They sound way better than normal musescore marimbas
Because I use Tapspace Virtual Drumline
NecroDavid I have virtual drumline but I have no idea how to put it on musescore...
It said it only works for sebalis and finally
@@CDCGaming You mean Sibelius and Finale
@@CDCGaming I put front ensemble in Finale, export audio and merge the audio with musescore audio

why did the battery transcription just crap out lmao tf?

What sounds are you using for this playback? It sounds awesome and very close to the live performance!
Sonatina Symphony Orchestra (soloists), MuseScore Drumline (battery) and Tapspace Virtual Drumline (front ensemble)
@@davidwang_music I’m sorry, how did you get virtual drumline to play with MuseScore?
@@camilleon352 I didn't, the audio was edited together in post processing
@@davidwang_music oooh i see, fair enough. disregard me asking on your BD 2011 video, then hahah
woah howd you get the new front ensemble sounds
I used Tapspace Virtual Drumline
But it is not free
NecroDavid
How did you get it into musescore?!
@@MiraDaWulf In post editing, not really directly into musescore.
Lmao at the beginning it says "scrape cymbal with drumstick" but the audio is just a random china hit lol
Because MuseScore is unable to create that sound
Blue devils 2012 transcription?
I have BD 2011 transcription
How do you get the suspended cymbal?
I put 32nds with crescendo in layer 2 and make them invisible, then I put normal rolls in layer 1 and mute them
NecroDavid thank you for the information
Trumpet solo is so underrated
Which of all?
Ender Zak Master ツ the one with the mute right after the tempo change although I can also appreciate the fugal horn solo.8:09
How does one get VDL to work on musescore?
I didn't. I worked on audio in editing
What soundfonts did you use for this?
Sonatina Symphony Orchestra, MuseScore Drumline (battery) and Tapspace Virtual Drumline (front ensemble)
