Just sold my g37x and got a q50 red sport. I definitely miss the steering of the old g, it talked to you and you felt comfortable taking corners extremely fast however the torque on the q50 is intoxicating, i love that feeling when it slams you in the back of our seat and goes mental.
Both of them are good cars. I had fun with the q50 and I have fun with the g37. But I agree on the corners with the g37. Thanks for watching 💯💯💪🏾💪🏾
man i’m in the same boat as you right now bro. i got my 09 journey and want a red sport but i know ima miss that heavy steering feel. especially since i have a short commute on the freeway, the way you feel connected to the road is something i know ima miss. we’ll see how i feel once i get the red sport
When I sold my g37 I got the 3.7 q50s with hydraulic power steering. Mainly cuz the VR is way too unreliable for high mileage use and hard driving
The 3.0 Q50 turbos are notorious for burning out because of how they don't breathe properly, the heat from the motor destroys the factory turbos.
Yea I heard they be having problems but I heard the newer years are good.
I've had 3 2013 G37s. All white sedans 7AT. I love that color and everytime I sell them I regret it. I'm already on the hunt for my 4th. Only thing is I live in the Arizona heat and 2 of them had this issue where if I'm waiting in a parking lot idling with the ac on it'll start to show the temp gauge overheating but would go back to normal when I drove. Regardless fun cars!!
I feel you when it gets hot, the temperature gauge starts to go up. It happens to me out here cali. But you like you said they are great cars and fun to drive.
Went from a 2017 FoST at 24 psi to an 11 G37x and crashed in a month. It wasn't from being a fast driving fool. Purely a dumb mistake. I was just falling in love with her so I bought a 2012 G37S to replace it a week later. It's the better car. It was worth giving the G another chance.
You may need a new radiator or clean and change the coils along with thermostat or waterpump.
I got hit in my G37S sedan and i miss the thing, Malbec Black( purple black) with black interior 6 Speed manual.
Every time i went hunting for one couldn’t have it in me compromise unless it was a 2011 35th anniversary sedan with the Malbec black and red interior and still had to be a 6 speed.
Now i got a 18 redsport graphite shadow and and now it’s a RA500 package with everything in the AMS catalog minus a driveshaft, turbos and diff and built trans to make it a RA600, and a Tomei Expreme Ti, the thing is fast and sounds like a GTR up top
I hate that people be so reckless, but you end up getting a redsport at the end. With everything you said I know that car is fun 😂😂
When you get an exhaust and intakes you’re supposed to get tuned bro … u gotta do that will make a big difference

You killing me with this review. When it comes to mods, the Q50 has just as many available mods if not more. The Q50S has more stock to wheel hrsp. It has way more mods. Stop the cap. Not bashing the G37. I have a G37 coupe and a G37x. I just need the Q50 Red Sport to complete the group. But you capping when you talking bout mods. The Q50 has way better hrsp, mods, and way better inside/mods for inside. Like the channel...keep it up. But you lost me on this one.
The Q50 Has plenty of mods. I believe I did this video over a year ago so I can’t remember what I said but I still believe you can do a little bit more with the G37 just because it’s N/A and it’s been around longer. But your right the Q50 has more power and it does have a lot of mods you can do to it but I still believe the G37 has a little bit more because how long it’s been out. And your intake isn’t really doing anything unless you are tuned
The vr fbo on full e85 your making 520+whp on stock turbos and that’s while being reliable still
Fbo on e30 you make 480whp that’s enough to mess with a hellcat but if you go full E like e79 you can walk modded hellcats if anyone disagrees I have videos to prove it
Reliable is a big word for a vr30🤣rather boost a vq37vhr

What year is the Q50? the Q50 didnt go to different engine until 2016. It went to Twin Turbo. The 2014-2015 has the 3.7 engine. You should review the 2014-2015 models
This Q50 Was a 2018. I wouldn’t mind reviewing the 14-15 models if I can get my hands on one.
What rims you going with on the g37. Just did some aftermarkets on my q50 resonators and changed the muffler with some flowmaster fx + bigger tips.

Different body, technology and interior that’s really it. It all depends on which body you like more.
It’s in the same family but not the same engine. They are baby GTRs tho. I have a 2017 q50 Silver sport and leave redsports. Lol.

that's a VR30, R35 has a VR38. 2 complete different engine.
They come from the same platform. One is smaller and one is bigger. The R35 has a VR38
If it’s not a G- coupe it’s just not cool but 2012 g37xs coupe is what I’m smacking ppl with lol
