I heard this song on the "store " music where i work today for the first time in forever ,maybe since it came out. I'm 68 and have fallen in love with Elo again. Such an infectious feel good song. Must've played it 10 times since I've been out of work.
This is played every year at the National Hot Rod World Final at Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich, just before the cars set off for the race. It was the late stadium manager Nick Thomas's favourite song of all time, and after his untimely passing it is not only fitting for the race but a lovely tribute to him. Brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it.

I love it 💜. Especially that part sung in French, despite not knowing French language unfortunately. An my English is not very good, either. I wish we all could speak the same language everywhere in the world.
This was used in the 'making of Daicon IV' after-scene. The 'over and over and over it goes' correlated to rotoscope footage of the final shot, a planet scene.
When I listen to this song, it puts my mind inside that huge saucer spaceship this group uses as it's prop. I'm inside this huge spaceship that is on a collision course with earth while this song plays.
