I suffer from severe depression, severe ADHD, anxiety, PTSD and agoraphobia. Noone really knows bc I hide it well and take my meds everyday - never miss a dosage. Whenever I listen to Def Leppard and especially this song, my mind/thoughts from my MIs just disappear and they/the song makes me feel "alive" and normal. I also think when I see Rick Allen, "jesus f-ing christ...this man LOST an arm and still managed to become such a great and talented drummer!" He is such an inspiration and someone to be admired.

I've seen this so many times and what is amazing is that they try really hard to feature every band member and not just focus on Joe. The video was well shot and equal parts the whole band. Not every band does this. They ignore the other members sometimes. But this band has always been known for it's "all for one, one for all" awesomeness
Totally agree!! The focus is usually on lead singer, but all of these guys bring their own electric stage presence. I wish I had seen them in the 80’s. Their music still makes me feel like a teenager lol!

It broke my heart when Steve died.. I love the Adrenalize album but it just didn't have the same feel. Hysteria was the first Def Leppard album I owned and listened to and I was instantly hooked! An absolute masterpiece of an album.
Hysteria is much different from Pyromania which was much more hard-rock oriented ; the raw guitar sounds and Phil's shredding solos were gone in Hysteria. Both albums are well made, mixed and engineered, but are very different outputs. I agree about Adrenalize, which is even more subdued.
I'm 71 hubby is 73... we both still love them. Saw them 3 times back in the late 80's/early 90's and a 4th time just last August. I'd go again! Forever fans!
What I love most about this band is they took a hiatus when their drummer was injured in an accident and lost his arm to allow him to recover and learn how to drum with his feet using then new electronic drum technology. Not many people have that kind of loyalty to there mates.

I'm so glad that we have so many people that appreciate the good old stuff. I went to their concert this last September and danced the whole time. They were awesome and there were even teenagers there, dancing and shouting having a great old time.
I used to be a Phil girl, but the more time goes on the more I love Rick Allen. He's such a sweetie and such a cute smile! He has a tremendous amount of courage to make a comeback like that from such tragedy.

Nothing speaks confidence like wearing your own band's T-shirt. I had one of them too, and it was my favourite item of clothing for a very long time. This album barely left the turntable way back then. Red light, yellow light, green light, Go!
There may be better drummers in other bands, but the fact that Rick Allen is a one-armed drummer says a lot. Not many others can say that they're still drumming despite losing an arm in a car accident. I know it's a drum kit for someone like him with one arm, but that's amazing for him to stay in the band. Talk about inspiration on a different level.
It's 1990 and I'm driving a Transit minibus filled with teenagers on work experience back to their homes after a week at the factory. The Leps are on the radio at full volume and we're all rocking out...thank you Joe, Steve, Phil, Ricks one and two for the great memories of such a wonderful time in my life. 66 now and still loving this music 🤟🤟
To this day, "Hysteria " remains one of my top 5 all-time favorite albums. Saw them in '88 on the Hysteria tour. The light show alone was worth the ticket price. 🤟

I've seen this so many times and what is amazing is that they try really hard to feature every band member and not just focus on Joe. The video was well shot and equal parts the whole band. Not every band does this. They ignore the other members sometimes. But this band has always been known for it's "all for one, one for all" awesomeness

Totally agree!! The focus is usually on lead singer, but all of these guys bring their own electric stage presence. I wish I had seen them in the 80’s. Their music still makes me feel like a teenager lol!

It broke my heart when Steve died.. I love the Adrenalize album but it just didn't have the same feel. Hysteria was the first Def Leppard album I owned and listened to and I was instantly hooked! An absolute masterpiece of an album.
That band has gone through a lot. I am so glad they stuck it out. Did you watch their Hall of Fame induction?
Hysteria is much different from Pyromania which was much more hard-rock oriented ; the raw guitar sounds and Phil's shredding solos were gone in Hysteria. Both albums are well made, mixed and engineered, but are very different outputs. I agree about Adrenalize, which is even more subdued.

O saw these guys at the minnesota state fair in 92.. outdoors at the race track grand stands.. all I can say is "UN-F#$%IN BELIEVABLE!!!!

What I love most about this band is they took a hiatus when their drummer was injured in an accident and lost his arm to allow him to recover and learn how to drum with his feet using then new electronic drum technology. Not many people have that kind of loyalty to there mates.

I'm so glad that we have so many people that appreciate the good old stuff. I went to their concert this last September and danced the whole time. They were awesome and there were even teenagers there, dancing and shouting having a great old time.

Rick Allen is amazing! Look at how far he has come. The drummer can be the back bone of the band. This is what Rick is.
I used to be a Phil girl, but the more time goes on the more I love Rick Allen. He's such a sweetie and such a cute smile! He has a tremendous amount of courage to make a comeback like that from such tragedy.

Nothing speaks confidence like wearing your own band's T-shirt. I had one of them too, and it was my favourite item of clothing for a very long time. This album barely left the turntable way back then. Red light, yellow light, green light, Go!

There may be better drummers in other bands, but the fact that Rick Allen is a one-armed drummer says a lot. Not many others can say that they're still drumming despite losing an arm in a car accident. I know it's a drum kit for someone like him with one arm, but that's amazing for him to stay in the band. Talk about inspiration on a different level.

It's 1990 and I'm driving a Transit minibus filled with teenagers on work experience back to their homes after a week at the factory. The Leps are on the radio at full volume and we're all rocking out...thank you Joe, Steve, Phil, Ricks one and two for the great memories of such a wonderful time in my life. 66 now and still loving this music 🤟🤟
